Looks like the city of Philadelphia's tough luck against Toronto is going to continue.

I'm curious about why you started Stottlemyre over Cone.

    TSM All-Time Baseball Tournament

Cone took the loss? What was he doing in in the 19th? I guess when you get to 19 innings, your bullpen becomes pretty depleted and you need to go to a starter. Shouldn't he have been the one starting that game though if Morris, Key & Guzman started the first three?

If they had known what they were doing, then either: a) The Ladder Match wouldn't have been scheduled b) The Ladder Match would still be scheduled That they made a major booking change like that just days before the PPV with no injuries from the participants shows that they do not in fact know what they are doing.

Congratulations to the 2007 AFC West Champion Denver Broncos!

You can't say that on TV!

The first thing that came to mind was Bret Hart's rant after losing to Sid in a Cage Match for the WWF Championship on RAW (the one where Austin was helping Bret so he would get a title shot at Mania).

I've been looking to pick up an NBA game. Would you guys recommend this one to be the one to get?

Am I being forced to change my pick of Soriano then? No. I'm simply voicing my opinion.

I don't think Soriano should even be eligible at second base considering he doesn't even play there anymore.

Most people don't really count that one because of the Super Bowl loss. Certainly by Super Bowl IV, that game had surpassed the NFL Championship in stature with the merger occurring for the next season. Even if you want to say that the championships that Green Bay won during the existence of the AFL are 'disputed', that still leaves them tied with Chicago overall with 9 Championships (6 NFL titles pre-AFL and 3 Super Bowls). Even the Lions managed 4 NFL Championships. Let's face it, the Vikings aren't exactly the most successful franchise in the league when it comes to winning championships. They are better than the likes of the Saints and Falcons, but that isn't saying much. No matter how good they are, they always seem to find a way to lose. The 1998 NFC Championship is the defining moment of the franchise, much in the same way Norwood is for Buffalo. That's not a good thing.

I'm more interested in finding out the reasons why people didn't pick Utley at second.

Tark is the greatest Viking of all time Carter is a close second. Moss is a tough call. Yeah he put up legendary numbers during his seven seasons in MN, but he's really crapped out now. Tarkenton was a great player and everything, but playoff misery and spending five of his prime seasons as a Giant put him below Carter.

That's because it is a Smackdown PPV. If you want crap, wait until Backlash.

    1. Jerry Rice 2. Don Hutson. He basically invented the true receiver and is still Green Bay's all-time scoring leader to this day. 3. Steve Largent. At the time of his retirement he held most of the important receiving records. 4. Tim Brown. I never considered him the best WR in the NFL, but that's because he was playing with Rice most of the time. The career numbers don't lie. 5. Cris Carter. Forget Randy Moss, this is the real best Vikings player of all-time. I won't include active players, unless they would be in the top five if they retired tomorrow. Harrison is the only one who comes close to cracking my top five, but Holt might be headed there to eventually. Holt is my top current WR. He might get out performed by the likes of Steve Smith, Randy Moss, TO, etc. in a particular year, but he is the only one (besides Harrison) who is fantastic every year.

Ginn probably isn't going to be there when Green Bay drafts, and their focus should probably be on a RB anyways.

what about lashly though? i mean you can tell it's already going to be taker vs batista, but who's lashly going to face? Probably Hardcore Holly. Lets be honest, nobody in the company really cares about ECW anymore, or at least it appears that way. Either way, Undertaker is not going to win his first Rumble and then challenge for a title in a promotion that wasn't even in existence when he first joined the WWF.

    OAO 02/05/07 Raw Thread

It will be Batista. HBK is naturally going to be the other #1 Contender and there is no way Triple H is going to let his buddy get sent to the Smackdown roster to fight Batista. Cena isn't going anywhere either. That leaves Batista/Taker by default.
