Well, its better than Shawn. At least the right team won.
-
It will be truly revolting if Shawn can beat those three by himself.
-
Other Rob. The guy with the Magic 8 Ball from Amazon. He was in the power alliance, then ditched them when he found out that he was the odd man out. He eventually got taken out in the Final 3 because he was too much of a threat to win.
-
Well, I'm glad I didn't get the Packers game now.
-
The reason I'm not a huge fan of that play, is that too often the lesser members of the alliance turn down better oppurtunities to stay in that clique. There are always pecking orders within those cliques and those in the back (in this case Stephenie & Judd) never seem to figure it out until they are gone. Or very rarely, the odd time they do, like in Amazon with Rob.
-
That's what I meant. If it was because of the PPV audience increasing that caused the Diesel/HBK numbers to dip, then they should have been similar afterwards, but they weren't. They went back up again after Shawn lost the title.
-
Okay, you probably know more about that than I do, but still that should result in the 1995-1996 buyrates being higher than those after it, which they aren't. They're substantially lower.
-
Stephenie wouldn't be able to win a jury vote against anybody but Lydia, I don't think. Maybe Judd if he becomes too much of a nuisance, but he hasn't yet. She was already on the show before, whoever is up against her would exploit that. Jamie already doesn't like her. The only way for her to win is to fine someone even less deserving of winning, which is basically Lydia at this point.

The new FieldTurf is a 100% improvement. The last baseball game I went to was the Palmeiro Ear-Plug game. I haven't seen Jays fans that loud since the World Series years.
-
The way it usually works is that the further you go back, the buyrates were higher than they would be in comparison to today because of the smaller universe. IE. A 0.56 in 1995 would be worse than a 0.56 in 2005, since today it would represent more buys. So really, those buyrates drawn by Diesel & HBK are even worse than they look. The audience wouldn't have changed that much then anyways, like you said. The big changes occur around 1992-1993. Anything before that shouldn't be used, because the numbers just aren't reliable.
-
Good ol' Diesel & HBK. Can always count on them for crappy buyrates.
-
The whole Master P thing was disasterous. Even the Mark Henry signing in WWF was a smarter decision than that.
-
Triple H damn well better win. He shouldn't have jobbed last month.

I have a different approach than most of you. I enjoy the books more than the movies, so I make sure I read them first, otherwise the movie would end up spoiling the book for me. I do enjoy the movies enough anyway. I'm not really affected by the changes from the books too much. As long as the movie works by itself, and the main plot follows the book for the most part, I'm not concerned. The Harry Potter movies are quite close to the books anyways, possibly moreso than any other series based off of a book. Even Lord of the Rings had a lot more major changes than the Potter films. In Goblet of Fire they cut a lot of stuff that really wouldn't work on film anyways (like the House Elf subplot, and the complicated Crouch/Crouch Jr relationship).

Gary was my favourite too, but unless they figure out what Rafe is up to soon, he's going to win the whole thing with room to spare.
-
Seven. I think that's what he was named. They air these promos for months about the guy. Dustin comes down to the ring with this big elaborate entrance display...and then drops the gimmick in his first interview.
-
The SkyDome has been a lot more fan-friendly since they renovated into the Rogers Centre. Although I still hate having to go to downtown Toronto to get there. I like the Corel Centre, stuck out in Kanata in the middle of nowhere.
-
I think any of three could win this if all goes right for them. Felisha has no hope and she is clearly the weakest one there.
-
Agreed. Same with baseball.
-
What the hell is Toronto doing? I thought Ricciardi was a Moneyball guy!
-
I would love to see Mooch go back to Green Bay. When Vitamin X first mentioned, I didn't think it would be possible, but now that it does seem like Mooch is gone, I'd take him over Sherman any day.
-
Fantastic.
-
True.

Shawn standing on the apron for the whole match didn't help.

The RAW vs. Smackdown match reminds me of the opening match of Survivor Series 1994 where one team is stacked, yet they'll probably lose anyways. And just like 1994 there is one guy on the stacked team that is much weaker than the others (Lashley/Neidhart) and one guy on the weak team that's far better than the rest of the team and will probably be the sole survivor (Michaels/Ramon).
