Good. Not that I necessarily agree with the decision the Eagles made, but they should have the right to make it.
-
You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm just glad that people in the US are finally seeing what a shithead this guy is. He is the worst owner in professional sports.
-
We don't like the Cowboys much either, but then again what other team does? Most of my venom for them is from that NFC Title game ten years ago.
-
Well, I guess they are insane then. Maybe they'll resign Harrington to a new 10 year contract while they are at it. Giants haven't won squat since leaving New York, and Dodgers won next to squat in Brooklyn.
-
I would love to see Mooch in Green Bay, but Detroit would have to be insane to fire him.
-
I don't live in Green Bay either, but Packers/Bears is much bigger than Packers/Vikings. Green Bay has problems with both the Vikings and Lions, but the Bears will always be numero uno. Bears/Packers is the Yankees/Red Sox of the NFL. Honourable mention to Cowboys/Redskins.
-
Yeah, there is no denying it now. Chicago is going to win the division, as much as it pains me to say it. Of all the teams to win it had to be the fucking Bears. I'd rather see Minnesota win it.

Last I heard, Burnett wanted to go to Toronto, his wife wanted to go to Baltimore. But it was Steve Simmons so take it with a grain of salt.

Crappy opponent. Luck. Crappy opponent.

In 64, I got so good with Bowzer that I basically forced one of my opponents (usually the most experienced one) to take DK every time.
-
Best of the four which is no surprise, since the first three books/movies are essentially introductions and revealing stuff about the backstory. GoF is where things actually start happening.

I know why they did it (the Austin/Angle turn at Survivor Series), but the way it was written didn't make any sense at all.
-
One I still don't understand is what happened at Survivor Series 2001. Kurt Angle betrays Team Alliance (the heels) and costs their leader Steve Austin to lose to the Rock who was representing Vince McMahon in Team WWF (the faces). Somehow this turns Austin face and Angle & Vince heel. That whole period from Survivor Series 2001 to King of the Ring 2002 was absolutely horrible. The product hasn't been that great (except for a few spurts) since Wrestlemania X-7, but that period really stands out for how bad it was.
-
It would be a big story, but lets not go nuts. It is obviously Angle that they are talking about, but I'm not sure how much to believe in this story. Lets face it, there are probably several at-risk wrestlers in the company right now. Michaels & Regal in particular should be quite worried because their lives haven't been that much different than Guerrero and both are in the same age range.

Just an incredibly hard show to watch. It is going to be a long time before I will be able to truly enjoy watching wrestling again. Godspeed Eddy.

I saw this this morning and I still don't know what to say about the whole thing. Simply tragic.

- WWE.com Randy wins, Batista gets his comeback video in January, wins Rumble, rematch at Mania, yada yada <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And so they are doing the dumb thing. Batista should not be getting in that ring, and he sure shouldn't be jobbing for any reason. They vacate the title for no reason at all back in January, but they can't here?
-
And 5 of those wins are at home where Denver rarely loses. They have a 1-2 road record again this year and have games remaining @OAK, @DAL, @KC, @BUF and @SD. Denver is overrated again.
-
Finally someone else that has the same mindset that I do.
-
That's what the Eagles did do. Suspend him for four games (including last Sunday), and have announced that they won't welcome him back after the season is over. He'll get paid for those games, just not the four.
-
Of course everyone, even the Eagles, should realise that they are a better team with TO on the field. But they seem to have reached their breaking point in that they'd rather take a hit on the field than deal with this guy in the clubhouse. I will say this much, if they were having a season like Indianapolis, then he would probably still be on the team. But they were already losing ground in the division, and they saw an opening to get rid of him.
-
So I suppose we can expect Smackdown to start sucking again soon. Whenever the show starts looking up, the writers get fired and they start focusing on backstage stuff and divas again. Life goes on.
-
This is great news! I was worried we wouldn't be able to get those games.

It was good for Batista, bad for Cena. Batista just beat HHH three straight times. It wouldn't have been long before HHH would want that job back and there goes Batista's heat in one fell swoop. Batista/JBL was a bad feud, but this Batista/Eddy thing has done a lot to help both guys. Cena definitely was better off on Smackdown. There he has guys like JBL & Randy Orton that are better opponents for Cena's character, and guys like Eddy & Benoit (or even Taker who has had good matches with Cena in the past) that would give Cena the good matches that he needs. Character-wise or ring-wise, Cena doesn't fit in on RAW with anyone besides Angle and that feud was already done on Smackdown earlier in the year. So both guys are better off on Smackdown, but Batista would be better on RAW than Cena, so no, it wasn't a good move for WWE.

Try only one. At least recently. Lesnar doesn't count because he's no longer there.
