Not necessarily. It is 50/50 whether Nash would get injured getting in the ring, even if he was booked to win.

And my love for wrestling has just died...

I don't know what you are talking about since I'm busy watching Vinny fumble the ball on MNF, but I gather this is one of those situations where I'm glad that the McMahon's don't give a shit about Smackdown and thus won't be subjected to this type of thing on Thursday (in Canada). Say what you will about the Boogeyman or Heidenreich, but they are just dumb, not offensive. -
Fantastic ending to the New York game.

Chicago might be at .500 too. Either the Lions or Bears are going to win this division. My guess is probably the Bears, because they at least have a good defense.

Because HHH is viewed as a monster who beats everybody and Ric Flair is my dad's age. HHH just got done jobbing to Batista, and if they have any plans at all at doing Cena/HHH, then jobbing him to Flair in any match is just going to make Trip look bad. Flair's done. Nothing that he does can save his career at this point and get him to be taken seriously. It would be much worse than Shawn jobbing to Hogan, because at least they are building towards Hogan/Austin, and I wasn't a very big fan of that either. Also, Hogan is seen, for whatever reason, as being more credible than Flair.

There is no way Trip should job to Flair, for any reason.

They still barely won, and it was hardly the Indianapolis Colts that they beat. I still don't see any indication that they will go on a tear. All that game decided was that purple shit is better than green shit. Nothing more.

Embarrassing performance by Green Bay.

I've got PIT@CIN, SD@PHI, BUF@OAK, DAL@SEA & DEN@NYG.

If Ventura's commentary was on the VHS Anthology releases, why wouldn't they put it on the DVD releases? The lawsuit was from years ago, so it isn't like it wasn't an issue then.

Big Show is perfectly suited to Triple Threat matches because he can come in, do his big moves and then get double-teamed/knocked out for awhile to let the other guys control the flow of the match. The JBL/Angle/Show match from Royal Rumble was going well too before the abrupt ending. Even so, it was better than HHH/Orton from the same show.

1) HBK. Come on Vince, give us Cena/HBK in some form since you screwed up the heel turn. 2) JBL & Rey, obviously. 3) Submission. I want to see Flair go down to an Indian Deathlock or Sleeper or something. He has no business even being in there. 4) Street Fight. The others aren't even real choices. 5) Cactus Jack. That's what he was the longest, and the character I remember most. 6) Lingerie.

Dammit. I had KC right too.

Is tonight's game being aired on TV?

Burress & Fitzgerald. Colts passing game hasn't pleased me this year.

Detroit at Cleveland (2.5) - No faith in Detroit on the road, even against Cleveland. (1.5) Green Bay at Minnesota - Vikes need to be blown up. (16.5 Indianapolis at Houston - I feel dirty doing this, but 17 points is a lot in a place Indy traditionally struggles. Indy wins easily, but that's too much of a spread. Kansas City at Miami (1.5) - I would take Miami as a dog, not as a favourite. New Orleans at St. Louis (2.5) - Marc Bulger picked a good week to sit out if he has to. Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (1.5) - Both teams need this win. Pittsburgh to keep pace, and Cincy because this is their first real big game of the season. San Diego at Philadelphia (4.5) - Philly blew the last game. I have to think they are ready for this after the bye, especially since they get a west coast team at home. San Francisco at Washington (12.5) - A lot of points here as well, but this time they favour the home team. 49ers can't handle the Washington D and their D can't handle Moss. Blowout of the week potential. Dallas at Seattle (3.5) - Can't go against Seattle at home where they rarely lose. Baltimore at Chicago (1.5) - Both teams blow on offense, but Chicago has played with a lot more enthusiasm and they are at home. Buffalo at Oakland (3.5) - Moss or not, I don't think this is a good matchup for Buffalo. Denver at N.Y. Giants (2.5) - Denver is due for a letdown at this point, and New York has done surprisingly well. Tennessee at Arizona (3.5) - I don't really like either option. N.Y. Jets at Atlanta (7.5) - Jets are in the trash heap, lying just ontop of the Vikings & Texans. Pittsburgh - 17 pts Minnesota - 14 pts

I'd sit Jones. Start LT & Tiki because they are the best backs of the four. If you are going to go down, at least go down full-blast. I'd probably sit Jones, since Dunn is having the best season of his career rushing-wise and BAL/CHI figures to be low scoring.

Detroit at Cleveland - Cleveland has a real shot to win this one. Detroit still seems to struggle on the road. Green Bay at Minnesota - Green Bay is bad, but shows signs of life now and then and Favre can still go. Minny is just dead. I usually am not a fan of firing a coach mid-season, but it has to be done in this case. Tice has no control of that team on the field, forget off of it. Indianapolis at Houston - Hope Indy enjoys this undefeated run, 'cause they have brutal second-half schedule. Kansas City at Miami - Can this game even be played with Florida about to be levelled by Wilma? Good thing Tampa's on a bye. New Orleans at St. Louis - Saints can't win on the road. Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Game of the week, if Roethlisberger is back at least. San Diego at Philadelphia - This matchup is also interesting. Philly has had struggled getting going all season, and a week off might fix the problem or make it worse. San Francisco at Washington - Its going to be a fantastic week for Santana Moss owners. Dallas at Seattle - Seattle is very good at home, and Alexander is fast becoming the second best player in the NFL behind Tomlinson, if he isn't already. Baltimore at Chicago - I'm hoping for a 0-0 tie. While that is unlikely, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bears get outscored by the White Sox. Buffalo at Oakland - Oakland is crap, but I have a feeling that the honeymoon is over for Holcomb this week. Denver at N.Y. Giants - Giants certainly have a shot, although Denver seems to be the media darlings right now. Tennessee at Arizona - By Monday, I'll have forgotten this game even happened. Monday, Oct. 24 N.Y. Jets at Atlanta - Monday Night Massacre.

Cole/Lawler from XV was awful, perhaps worse than the job they did at the Royal Rumble that year. Vince McMahon/Susan St. James from II was terrible, but I didn't mind the other teams. I was particularly fond of Monsoon & Ladd during the Battle Royal. The Wrestlemania XIII team was bad, as was all the times we had Vince/Lawler (X-XII). Overall though, I have to give XV the nod. Nothing like giving away the results of your main event before it happens.

Eddy is maineventing against Batista and Benoit has been squashing Orlando for the past month and is now feuding with Booker.
-
141 pts last week. Not too bad considering that I don't know what I'm doing. I ditched my GM for Lashley & Holly. Lashley should be getting a lot of clean wins and Holly was the only one left that fit into my budget properly.
-
And how likely is that to happen?
-
What I don't understand is how Trip is supposed to be the heel when he is absolutely correct. Flair has been ruining his legacy since 1999.
-
Speaking of which, Benoit was just coming off his feud with Raven and immediately jobs clean to Scott Norton on the very next Thunder.
-
Me. That's the one match I want to see more than any other at this point.
