Honestly, if you ask me, I'd say that the reason that HHH is main eventing again is that they don't trust Edge to main event a PPV, and they're waiting for Orton to get healthy to move HHH out of the top heel slot. Although after that whole "Money in the Bank" thing, you'd think that Edge should get some credit. Really, him getting "screwed" out of the title shot and going to Smackdown is the only way I can really see the storyline ending. And the sad thing is that Edge would probably be a much better draw than Orton.

Kingdom of Heaven will probably do a lot better overseas, just like Troy & Last Samurai. Americans seem to have a problem with historical epics.

Most of us thought that Benjamin was the future back when he first showed up with Charlie Haas. Nah. At that time it was a Cena-love fest. Only 4 or 5 people here were thinking that highly of Benjamin, most others wrote him off jokingly saying "He's black, so he won't be getting a top spot". We meant in terms of skill. I admit that I thought Charlie would be the one who got pushed. But many of us though Shelton would become the best actual wrestler in the company despite a lack of push. The next Chris Benoit in other words.

Most of us thought that Benjamin was the future back when he first showed up with Charlie Haas. Jericho's credibility is so shot right now that it is hard to do anything with him. I honestly think that a Christian/Batista or hell, even Kane/Batista would attract more interest from fans than Jericho/Batista would at this point. It is not that he isn't a good wrestler, because he is, but nobody buys Jericho as a legitimate threat against even upper midcarders anymore because he has been buried so badly.

No, just the ones who suck, namely Randy Orton. I have absolutely no problem with Lesnar, Cena, JBL or Batista. Only when the old guys become stale. Nobody was complaining about The Rock in 2000, even though he was on top for 2 years by that point. But HHH & Taker have been around for so long that they have lost the appeal that they once had. Not to say they don't have value, because they do if used properly (and I don't just mean being jobbed out), but they shouldn't be the main focus for 40 minutes of every show. Taker & Shawn seem to realize this, HHH does not.

In Florida there are Baptists everywhere. In Ontario they aren't nearly as common. Where I grew up it was mainly Anglican & Greek Orthodox. I find Baptists to be quite rigid in their beliefs for the most part.

CO2 isn't a major factor in the air quality problems either (ie. smog). Outside of an enclosed area where CO2 can build up really quick. Smog primarily consists of CO, SO2, H2SO4 & (NH4)2SO4. Those are the gases that we need to reduce desperately. We have a very real air quality problem that is being ignored in favour of Global Warming. CO2 isn't a problem except in small enclosed spaces where it can build up pretty quick because it has nowhere else to go. The human body can't use it, but it can also eject it easily, unlike CO.

It was the best RAW in ages. I sure hope it went up.

1-0. Those are the games that the good teams manage to win. That is certainly the best game I ever remember out of Towers. With Halladay going tomorrow we stand a good chance of the sweep and erasing that last terrible series against the Os.

There have been warmer times in human history, and even in the post-Christ era than there is now, most notably during the Medieval Warm. If the environment survived then, why couldn't it survive now? Did polar bears not evolve until 500 years ago or something? As a race we do enough bad things to environment that we shouldn't waste time complaining about things that aren't a problem. We've got enough of a mess as it is.

The Jays seem to alternate between being awesome and being terrible every couple of weeks. But yeah, this certainly isn't last year's pen. Chacin is really doing well too.

Most of you guys have mentioned the best ones. Was the first JBL/Angle Title match in 2005? If so that was a great match too.

Well, I thought for sure Trip was taking it, but I guess they plan on going with the give Batista a good match route. Normally that would be Benoit, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them give it to Shawn instead. It doesn't really matter either way, since who ever wins is going down in the end. I can't imagine Kane or Edge winning it.

Granted. But isn't the point of this argument to find out if it is even necessary. Of course it is. There are different periods of glaciation seperated by periods of relative warmth, even within the Quarternary. Any geologist will tell you that. It is good for some areas (ex. Ontario), bad for others (ex. California), and no difference to some (ex. Panama). It depends on regional conditions, continental alignment, latitude, etc. I really don't want to get into explaining weather patterns and climate change to specific regions as it would take a long time. Just generally speaking, the eastern interior of North America will benefit as will much of East Asia (specifically Japan, Korea & Northern China), the biggest losers (besides the Arctic) will be the west coast of North America and South-Western Europe (specifically France & Spain). But generally speaking, if it isn't occuring natural, then yes, it probably isn't a good thing that it is happening. From my climatology professor at Carleton, Dr. Tim Patterson, although most geologists I've met agree with him. The problem with alot of scientists working on this is that they simply aren't looking at a large enough scale. Geological societies (such as the Geological Society of America) and paleoclimatologists have the advantage of looking at the past to see if what is happening in the present is that abnormal.

JBL should have won since the match at Mania was weak and they need a bigger match than that to blowoff off the feud. They should save Angle for Great American Bash, being that he is the American Hero and all. Besides the Championship Series that they had on Smackdown differed from a normal tournament by just having qualifying matches for the real #1 Contender multi-man match.

This isn't telling us anything we didn't already know. The earth has always retained heat, as does every other planet except the gas giants (which actually produce heat, they let off more than comes in). If the earth didn't retain heat it would end up like the moon, where everybody would freeze to death at night. It isn't just the atmosphere either. A large part of it is absorbed by the oceans, and the earth itself. This study can't tell us anything unless they can give us the data from 100 years ago, 200 years ago, etc., probably up to about 2000 because climate change can happen over a long period of time and the 500 years before this century were abnormally cold. This study is a good starting point, since we have actual mathematical data which we can use to compare with future readings in say 100 years, but of itself it says absolutely nothing about global warming. It is, but its a really weak one that won't retain much heat unless there is just an absurd amount of it. It has been estimated that if you double the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere from what we have right now, you will get an increase in global temperature of about 1.5 Celcius. The worst common greenhouse gas is H20, which volcanos spew out constantly and is produced from such things as burning hydrogen. The temperature increased more in 1998 alone due to the exceptionally strong El Nino than could ever result from a realistic amount of CO2. Go into a sauna, and you will see that H20 is very good at retaining heat.

Its called earning your title shot. I'll take it over HHH just getting a shot any time he wants on RAW, and it is much better than using a battle royal twice last summer like RAW did. The nice thing about tournaments is it allows you to book interesting main events for your televised shows for a month or so.

Yeah, people keep mentioning HHH's entrance at WM, but I thought JBL's motorcade and falling $100 bills with his picture on it was far more impressive.

One year ago I said I found him entertaining, but that he would be better as a manager or even a US Champion level wrestler because his in-ring ability was lacking. Since then he has improved a lot in the ring. Right now, he's my favourite wrestler in the company.

Yeah it is really hard to find sex scenes in most non-Xeno RPGs. Certainly characters in the Suikoden games are sleeping with each other (Teo McDohl/Sonya Shulen, Blue Lightning Flik/Odessa Silverburg, Jowy Blight/Jillia Blight, etc.) but nothing is shown. It is just mentioned. Unless you count Metal Gear Solid 3, which isn't an RPG but has similarities storywise to them.

Anyone else notice how the ratings tend to go up when Batista is in the main event and down when HHH is in the main event?

Which comes to my other main argument about VIII. It is pathetically easy. By far the easiest game of the series.
