Yeah. Both teams are basically going to have to abandon both the pass and the kicking game at this point. They've pretty much already done the former.

I'll join.

I've watched the Simpsons from the beginning, but I really started loving it around the time of my next pick. Season 3, Episode 13 - Radio Bart This is Kent Brockman with a special bulletin. The Lincoln squirrel has been assassinated. We'll stay with the story all night if we have to.
-
Real or fictional?

I'm going to go with a classic crossover episode. Season 6, Episode 18 - A Star is Burns I was saying Boo-urns.

The thing about Atlanta is not so much the talent on the team, but there were the biggest off-field disaster last year that I've ever seen in any sport. Their star QB was in jail and their head coach packed up his bags in the middle of the night after promising the team earlier in the day that he would be there til the end. They had no chance to succeed last year, and Mike Smith has taken that mess and managed to turn it around with a rookie QB that many thought had bust written all over him. If he wins COTY, it would certainly be a deserving win.

Yes. No. Cassel still has Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and the same offensive line. Anyone's producing with that protection and arsenal. Fuck him. Coach of the Year SHOULD be between Belichick and Mike Smith. Cassel doesn't even need to be in MVP talks. I don't see how Belichick should be COTY if Miami ends up winning the division after being 1-15 last year. Sparano needs to be in this discussion for sure.

I am extremely excited about this news. Getting to play this game on the go is something I've wanted for a long time. Now bring on Suikoden II, which might be my favourite RPG ever.

Yes. No. Cassel still has Randy Moss, Wes Welker, and the same offensive line. Anyone's producing with that protection and arsenal. Fuck him. Agreed. I've seen Cassel lots this year and he hasn't impressed me. He constantly misses targets and usually just gets bailed out by the talent around him. He's going to be a big bust for whoever decides to give him a big contract this off-season. The difference between him and Brady is night and day.

Giants at Minnesota (6.5) Chicago at Houston (2.5) (3.5) Carolina at New Orleans St. Louis at Atlanta (13.5) Kansas City at Cincinnati (3.5) Jacksonville at Baltimore (12.5) (3.5) Tennessee at Indianapolis Cleveland at Pittsburgh (10.5) Miami at N.Y. Jets (2.5) (6.5) New England at Buffalo Seattle at Arizona (6.5) Washington at San Francisco (3.5) Denver at San Diego (7.5) - This game will be tight either way. Steelers - 16 points.

It hasn't been a good year for the Packers to say the least, but if we end up knocking the Bears out of the playoffs at least something good will come out of it.

I will go with the most important Shinto deity. Amaterasu My second pick ended up more or less as a god, even if he didn't start out that way. I'm sure somebody would have picked him eventually. Doctor Manhattan

I came very close to picking this episode with my last pick. Season 4, Episode 16 - Duffless Homer: Well, time to go to work. Homer's brain: Little do they know I'm ducking out early to take the Duff Brewery tour. Homer: Roll in at nine, punch out at five, that's the plan. Homer's brain: Heh, heh, heh. They don't suspect a thing. [camera pans down to Homer's mouth, but he doesn't say anything] Well, off to the plant. Homer: Then to the Duff Brewery. Homer's brain: Uh, oh. Did I say that or just think it? Homer: [panicky] I've got to think of a lie fast! Marge: Homer, are you going to the Duff Brewery? Homer: Aah! [Runs off]

I agree.

My favourite book of all-time is Jurassic Park, so I probably don't have to do too much explaining about my next pick. It is also the source of my most commonly used line from the show, which appears below. Season 6, Episode 4 - Itchy & Scratchy Land Homer: Now remember, we're in the Itchy lot. Now are we supposed to skipping over BPSS or not (he still hasn't made his pick from the last round)? I don't know who I'm supposed to PM.

The Bucs went an entire season without winning once, and then went all the way to the second to last week the next season without winning as well (getting Hank Stram fired in the process). I view that as worse than what the Lions are doing this year. If the Lions go 0-16 and then get into November without a win next year, then we can start talking.
-
The Lions have a way to go for the worst team ever. The Bucs once lost 26 games in a row.

Just checking the first page. I voted no on Prop 2. I don't know why I am up there as voting for it.

There is so much drama in Den/SD based on the Hochuli call at the beginning of the year. It would be hard for NBC to resist. Assuming Buffalo doesn't blow it of course.
-
I believe Peterson now has as many fumbles on the year as TDs.
-
Alright. Good thing too, because I was going to go with Atlanta next week, but they are now on the verge of clinching a playoff spot and might be resting their starters. Thanks, everyone.

Nice pick. I also love one exchange in the second segment. Carl: Hey, I heard we're going to Ape Island. Lenny: Yeah, to capture a giant ape. Carl: I wish we were going to Candy Apple Island. Charlie: Candy Apple Island? What do they got there? Carl: Apes. But they're not so big.

Crap. I was hoping for a better draft pick.
