  1. My draft got thrown out of whack a bit with Rude, Hansen & Graham going as I was looking at one of them to be my #2 heel. With that, I'm going to go in a different direction and pick a guy who can turn any Joe Schmoe into a credible heel threat. I've thought about everybody left on the board and thought to myself who would I be most upset about not having on my roster, and discovered the answer.

    The greatest manager of all-time...

  2. Did Fox put out both this new Street Fighter movie AND that upcoming Dragonball movie as well? God, what horrible releases for a studio!

Yep. Another winner for Tom Rothman!

That's misleading, since they basically just served as the distributor, it was Hyde Park who handled the production

Oh well. He's still got Wolverine and Dragonball to ruin.

  3. For guys who have had success as singles competitors, there is also going to be a risk. On the plus side, that means you if you get stuck you get a viable singles wrestler as well. There are plenty of teams out there that I doubt people will be interested in as singles wrestlers. I can't name drop, but that's certainly where I'm looking.

  4. The thing I like about Cena is his versatility. You can pair him with almost any heel and there is natural animosity between their character types. Top faces that you can build an entire promotion around are so rare that I knew I wanted one with my first pick. Even had I gotten HHH there is a good chance he would have been a face depending on who ended up falling back to me. I can only think of a couple left off the top of my head without going really old school or picking somebody from outside Canada and the US.

Cena is also someone guaranteed to get a reaction. People either love or despise him, but they aren't indifferent.

I kind of wish Franchise picked Minnesota though, just so we could see HHH wrestle in the HHH Metrodome.

  5. Michael Vick was having a lot of problems at QB before the two year layoff. I would take a chance on him as a backup, but any coach planning on starting him right away is insane. His career average completion percentage is 53.8%. That's just abysmal.

  6. Ramsus, the general feeling is if you draw a lower number, your first two picks will be close together so you can actually put some thought into your main two guy fued.

I get that, but I would have preferred to get one of the Big 3, who I won't mention because of the rules but it should be pretty obvious. Once those three are gone, I'd just as soon be at the end for the reasons you mention. There are a lot guys in the second tier, IMO.

I'm not really bitching, I just saying that I will have to go with a different approach then I would have with a top pick. I was at the top of the NFL Draft, so I was bound to end up with a late pick eventually.
