What a shitty day of bowl games right now. At least I am looking forward to the 2 BCS games tonight, but I don't care about any of the six teams on the TV right now.
-
I think they should trade it for a veteran player and multiple lower round picks. If they do take someone, anyone but Stafford or Crabtree.
-
I don't give a poop about either team but this is an awesome setting.

I started off the year winning 5000 dollars on a 1 dollar scratch off lottery ticket. I then found out I had diabetes after nearly dying from ketoacidosis, spent 18 days in the hospital, spent 2500 or so on hospital related expenses, and was in and out of the hospital for months after that. And I'm still not feeling better (have always had colon problems, and now diabetes and back pain on top of that). The pluses? Not much, but I did get to watch a lot of movies this year, and I beat 50 video games. 2009 is about redeeming my personal life and getting my social aspects back on track. 2008 was a reboot/health year I guess.

Holee shit. I was wrong. This is a blowout.

Are Bob Griese and Brad Nessler going to a New Yars party right after the game or something? Griese is wearing a black suit and BOWTIE. I don't think this game will be as bad as people think. LSU's main weakness seemed to be pass defense, and GT doesn't pass. I do think GT will win but it probably won't be a blowout. Has a national champion fallen quicker in terms of public perspective as this LSU team has? Sheesh.

It was windy pretty bad, but some of the offensive playcalling was seriously bad. Bill Stull went SEVEN FOR 24 FOR 42 YARDS or some nonsense. I did like Pitt trying a 58 yard field goal with 2 minutes to go. Guess it was a better chance of going in than an offensive play working. VANDY JUST WON A BOWL GAME. That fucked up a lot of bowl manias I bet. Including mine.

Green Bay was a pretty decent team THIS year, just lost a lot of close games. I wouldn't write them on the win column for next year just yet. I wouldn't have even written them on the win column this year to be honest.

I do not agree.

Oregon couldn't stop Oklahoma State before Bryant and Robinson got hurt, and couldn't stop them enough when they did get hurt. And they still scored 31. And they were supposed to be good NEXT year. Watch out, Sooners.

Joe Johnson was a sixth man before coming to Atlanta and he can't be that much of a veteran. I think he was implying they need ANOTHER veteran player, and I tend to agree. I do think they'll be a dangerous team come playoff time.

lol. Cincy had quite a turnaround this year. I think they only lost 1 conference game. They are pretty good (10-3) and their coach is a big name ticket on the carousel, although it seems he is staying.

Flacco should have gotten at least one vote somewhere but I knew he wasnt winning it. I dont know how you can overlook the fact that Flacco was basically thrown into the role of starter for the last week of preseason and beyond after being the teams 3rd string QB and practicing with the 2nd teamers all the way up to the last week of August due to injuries to Boller and Smith. Ryan knew he was going to be the starter as soon as he was drafted and yet their numbers are pretty similar. Whatever.. And about the Ravens schedule, I can see them going at least 11-5 again next year, maybe 12-4. Denver, KC, Chicago and Detroit at home are wins out of Division (along with Cincy and Cleveland) and Oakland, Green Bay and Minnesota on the Road are all wins out of division (along with Cincy and Cleveland). The game with SD is up in the air to me right now, and the 2 games vs Pittsburgh, Indy and NE I'll go ahead and consider losses at the worst. and here I was worried they'd get hosed next year on the schedule next year but they're playing the AFC West and the NFC North.. On the never ending (in your mind) Flacco/Ryan debate, I don't have their numbers in front of me but I don't think it was close. Also, this season is not even over and you're already dissecting next season's record? We don't know what the teams will add and subtract via draft and free agency yet.

Seems like most of the bowl games I was interested in already happened. I'm looking forward to Pittsburgh/Oregon State, Cincinnati/Virginia Tech, Ole Miss/Texas Tech, and Buffalo/UConn, but outside of that, nothing jumps out of me.

WWE General Discussion - December 2008
Psycho Penguin replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
HHH looks like Raven. -
Bills are deciding on Jauron's fate tomorrow.
-
I'd be willing to bet that the Jets and Dolphins will be at or under .500 next year given the tougher schedule... I meant this year's record though.
-
So, Jacksonville and Buffalo (twice) are the only under .500 teams the Patriots play next season?
-
Has to do with the owner selling the team.
-
I can't believe they actually did a fantasy booking ending.
-
I sure hope not. I was looking forward to there actually being a Superbowl I wanted to watch this year. I'm sure most here probably want a high-scoring affair, but I think Giants/Ravens would be a terrific Super Bowl Hopefully as terrific as the last time they met in the Super Bowl!

That match was.. long
-
They have mentioned Batista afew times on commentary. Terrible match. Mysterio beats Knox, YAY YAY YAY whatever
-
Santino's commentary was awesome as hell. </LTTP>
