That was the funniest fucking thing I have ever seen. I wanted to see a Pitt player knock a fan on his ass.
-
Not in the fucking MAC, although we are undefeated against MAC teams this year also. This night could NOT have gone any worse for me. Maryland and Tech are completely shitting the bed. What a nightmare. Fuck.

Notre Dame vs Ball State in the Motor City Bowl. Believe! Keep thinking Ball State is going to make the BCS. It's working wonders for you so far. Maryland's killing themselves in this game so far.

WWE General Discussion-November 2008

I don't think Batista's "first shot at the belt" was such a big deal, even then. It WAS a bigger PPV than normal, I will definitely give you that, but it could have been called GAB and no one would have known the difference. I will agree that Summerslam has gotten back some of its magic these last few years, at least, and I enjoyed SS2007 and 2008 a lot more, but 2006 was definitely average, unfortunately. -
Seriously? They have 6 wins. They can lose to USC by 100 and they'd still make a bowl game. BECAUSE THEY ARE NOTRE DAME!!
-
I'm sure you'll find a way to blame him if BSU loses too. WOW.. Syracuse beats ND and Washington State beats U Dub in 2 overtimes. This day hasn't been as boring as I expected. NOW COME ON WAKE. KNOCK BC OFF PLEASE. One less thing to worry about.

WWE General Discussion-November 2008

No they werent... Orton at that time wasnt even close to being as good he is now, on the mic and in the ring. At that point in time he was pretty much considered a huge dissapointment. The Hogan/Orton match was crap as was the build up. No one gave a shit about it. Foley/Flair whole feud was one big dissapointment. It could've been a lot better then what it was. This. Hogan/Orton was SO HUGE it midcarded. Flair/Foley was SO HUGE it midcarded. The main event was only because it was in Cena's hometown, and he lost. Big deal. Summerslam 2006 was nothing special. -
APPLE CUP AND BOSTON COLLEGE/WAKE! YES! This will do well until the big games on tonight!
-
Right. I forgot Cincy still has a game left. Well, WVU losing today would cinch it for Cincy tonight then. Of course, WVU just scored a TD to make it 21-7.. err, 14-7.

Summerslam 2006? I guess Flair/Foley I Quit, but they already had a matchup the month before and it wasn't a super pushed match. Hogan/Orton went fairly early in the card and didn't mean much. -
Everyone's Favorite Sports Network said Cincy will clinch the BE tonight with a win. I didn't believe it at first, but now that I think about it.. they would.
-
I don't have digital cable, so I can't get NFL Network, but I think if I did, I could get a sweet sports package for 6 dollars a month that includes NFLN. I'll look into it next season. (This is for Comcast)

Two years ago, UM/OSU and UL/WVU were huge. Now look.. I am still interested in them because I love football, but DAMN. WVU just got robbed on TWO touchdowns and are tied with Louisville 7-7 at halftime. Michigan is hanging with A Ohio State University 14-7 right now. I expect Louisville and Ohio State to win these games (but at least keep it close in Michigan's case), but I am an idiot. Everyone thought Tech would lose to Texas and OSU too. Tech completely destroyed OSU. Yes, those games were at home, but I think Tech is a lot better now than in recent years, and they have a HUGE chance to prove it today. Another boring day of ACC football, as North Carolina and Virginia are both losing.
-
Tech is going to beat Oklahoma, I believe. I don't think Missouri could beat Oklahoma. They couldn't last year, and Oklahoma is better now.
-
I can bash gutting a team in hopes you might sign players in 2 years. Then again, their other strategy was not working either.
-
While I usually agree with rebuilding phases, they've been on one for a while, and this doesn't seem like a sure-fire guarantee kind of strategy. They haven't been on this rebuilding phase in 12 years. The last time they had cap room was the year they signed Allan Houston, Larry Johnson and Chris Childs. I'm sure that worked real well for them too, judging by all the titles they've won since they signed all those players. And yeah, I did realize what I said sounded kind of dumb. I meant they haven't been winning in a long time. They clearly have spent a lot of money, though.

Between Kizarny and Jeffrey, this show has a high quota of gay clown wrestlers. Sheesh.
-
Every match ending in that would get boring, and we have to suspend disbelief. Good answer? Decent show so far. Miz and Morrison brought the lol's.
-
Yeah seriously. Only way USC even has a chance is if Missouri wins the Big 12 title over Oklahoma, who beats TTU. And that's doubtful.

ESPN keeps saying it's to clear salary cap and they are basically tanking the next 2 seasons. I don't get that "strategy" at all, to be honest.
-
God, poor Clippers fans. My team is 1-8 and I feel sorry for the Clippers.
-
GT still needs a lot of help. Like.. Duke beating VT levels of help.
-
Well, teams with losing records have beaten undefeated teams before.
-
Umm I agree with you, but USC would technically be co-champions. I do agree it's insane to hold "not winning the conference" against Texas. Tech can solve a lot of worries and will by knocking OU off. The best part about tonight's raping on ESPN was that Miami fans have to stoop even lower to make stuff up now. I never saw such conceited pricks over a 5-game win streak before. Now, it's "WELL, HOW MANY NATIONAL TITLES HAS GT WON?"
