Congrats for beating Central Michigan by 7. That was a good win, but I am still not totally impressed. I will say I did not expect them to win that game, so it's a start. Enjoy the potential beatdown in the BCS if everything falls the Cardinals way. I'm just hoping Maryland/Ball State somehow happens now. We need a "BCS Win".

I hope the 2nd half is as good as the 1st. This game has lived up to the hype so far. Interesting read on a very improbable but interesting BCS scenario:

Ball State is clearly one of the best teams in the country. Let's go ahead and give them a shot against the loser of Florida/Alabama (provided both of them win between now and the SECCG).

There's still lots of sports on network TV. Just a lot more of the "niche" sports that are becoming popular in the mainstream this decade, like NASCAR. Ball State at CMU now, I've been anticipating this game, we'll see how it goes and if BSU is for real or not.

I'd guess they'd ALL be on ABC, actually. They do play football on ABC, and the ABC on ESPN thing is pretty prominent lately.

They could put the BCS on the Versus and it wouldn't be going anywhere. ESPN couldn't influence it when it wasn't on their channel, so it doesn't really mean much for its future.
