Oh trust me I think Scheinder is just as good as Lidstrom, and his loss is huge, and if we ever lost Lidstrom now, it would be all over but Lebda is not horribile as he is the one who replaced Schiender, then their is Kyle Quincy who isn't bad himself having being put in this role at the last minute. If anything, Chelios is the one who looking sluggish at times. And just bad turnovers by everyone on the Red Wings, not just the defensemen is what is killing them right now.

I had a feeling that we were going to lose this overtime, considering we've won the other 2 OT game we've been in , I guess you can say we were due and add to the fact that they looked tired. They really do need to skate a little faster. Good game by the Ducks, and a good game by Gigure, I'll give him all the credit on some of those key saves. I expected to this to be a long series so I didn't think we would win both at home, now we just need to split in Anaheim and then there is the piviotal Game 5. And why doesn't Mike Babcock just bench Kyle Calder, I know he is hurt so why not bench him and play Hudler (even tho he will get just pushed around but so is Calder!) so at least play the healthy guy And one more thing, Samuelsson has been doing fine on the point for the powerplay so losing Schiender does hurt but it's not killing us...the players are just making bad decisions with their passing.

Well I know that they would review the goals, but I'm just saying that it's weird to have 2 not sure if its a goal on first review for the same team in the same game.

What a huge goal by Lidstrom there, hopefully the wings can continue the momentum going into the third. And thank you Versus for having missed the penalty that McDonald got.....and I hate whenever the wings fan stand that you can't see the bottom half of the ice, not that I have a problem with fans excited, I'm just saying they need a better camera location

The Wings look like they woke up at least though cus of the SH goal by Maltby even after the 2nd goal by Anaheim

Getzlaf just LOOKS like a guy I would want to punch in the face. Eh period, Wings still need to skate faster Hasek kept us close in that period with some key saves, the goal wasn't his fault, defense just fell alsleep there.

It is a 7 game series even if the series is heading to Ottawa. It ain't over yet folks, calm down. And I could care less about the Eastern Conference

Hasek did play well but mind you the Wings were shorthanded for a majority of the game and they played well (the defense) and the wings had some good chances...Giggy made some nice saves too, i'll give him some credit as well

Real good game tonight, if the rest of the series will be like this, I'm liking though these low scoring games give me heart attacks. Less penalities though next game please And those last 2 minutes...intense

But so were the Flames & Sharks so they should be ready for the challenge. 1 vs. 2 in the western finals too....Wasnt it just last year when 1,2,3, & 4 were eliminated in the first round in the West?

I went crazy after the Datsyuk goal. Anyone wonder how serious Schiender's injury is? Who do you think they'll bring up for Game 6? Is Kronwall available yet?

Whats with the Red Wings and the Too many men on the ice penalities these playoffs?

He's still made key saves that CuJo, Legace, Osgood would have let in to kill any momentum we would have had. He's kept us in the game for the most part when our offense was struggling.

Nice play by scheinder to keep it in the zone and take the shot right away. I figured it would be another blocked shot by the Sharks but the diving player actually helped the puck go in the net. Game 5 is HUGE once again on home ice. Please Detroit, take a 3 goal lead to start the game. These comebacks are killing me. (Though I do appreciate them)

I was getting bored at the end, I was standing up expecting the usual when the Wings pull their goalie, but wow, Robert Lang of all people. YAYYY

Hasek is not the reason why we are losing this series. You can't win if you can't score! Wings have only scored 4 goals this series!

Eh I thought Datsyuk and Zetterberg played well enough for a road game but yeah they do need to score a goal on the road these playoffs. Remember it's a 7 game series, It's not over yet. Hopefully the return of Homer will spark the scoring. And Lang & Samuelsson looked like they had a spark up their ass tonight....About damn time

What a finish. Go Datsyuk. The key point for the Wings to regain control of this series: 1. NO turnovers 2. Better start. They didn't look like Detroit at ALL in the first 10 Minutes, hence why I was scared Because besides the first period in both games, Detroit hasn't played that bad

I'm a fan of Joe Thornton, so I wouldn't mind seeing his name on the cup. There's something about the Sharks, I have no reason to hate them, unlike the Flames where I had a few different reasons. If wings don't win here, they'll be lucky to win a game in San Jose

First time I ve seen the Sharks this year. They are good, and the Wings look bad. Sharks are winning the cup.
