And what a terrible picture. Is there anything worse than people claiming to be "friends" of dead people when they clearly weren't!?! -

I know it's a case of never say never with the F, but given the speed they've removed references to him, I can't see it. -

After reading the TMZ report, That is the scenario I came up with as well. No gunshots, no stabbing, etc, but "death instruments" at the scene. And still an accident? -

Still wouldn't class as "bizarre" and, given the circumstances, not really "heinous" or "horrible" (not more than normal). This has more to it stil... -

Sorry, but to me "bizarre," "heinous" and "horrible" do point to something sexual. -

... WTF!? Heinous and horrible, even moreso than it already is?? I'm literally cringing here, I have a few possible thoughts on how it could get more horrible than it already is but i almost don't want to say it out loud* *(well out "loud" on a message board) As I alluded to earlier, I assume you mean necrophilia? -

Bizarre is an odd word for the police to throw about, though. Because, even as horrific as it is, a husband killing his wife and son then himself does happen, sadly, and wouldn't warrant bizarre in its own right... With the rumored time table and the fact that a firearm wasn't used makes the entire situation rather strange. If Benoit did do all of this himself, it really has to be the story of a complete mental breakdown. The instruments of death, I assume, would be needles and steroids. Perhaps he knocked them out and then gave them an overdose, before doing the same himself... -

Well, I'll be attacked for this but if someone is in a house with two bodies for two days or so, then all sorts of questions are raised about what went on between them dying and him dying. -

Hard to know how to take this one given what the circumstances seem to be, but having worked alongside death for long enough it's hard not to appreciate some of the "gallows humour" on display in this thread. One thing that does keep cropping up though is the comment that there are details that are "a little bizarre" and that truly does make the mind boggle. Just how bizarre remains to be seen, and I perhaps shouldn't post my thoughts as to what it could mean. Out of decency, if nothing else. -

Mr. McMahon "dead" - Now for the "whodunit" angle.
StrapFinlay replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
That article is classic: One fan, dressed in a retro powder blue sports jacket with the old World Wrestling Federation logo that was once the Chairman’s trademark, was too overcome with grief to talk. His shoulders shook and lips quivered before he buried his face in his hands. He had to be held by his two friends that were at his side. “He used to practice the Chairman’s strut and swagger,†one friend said. “He’s barely eaten since seeing the explosion. But he insisted on coming here and paying his respects.†As per the Texas chap, it's all in the writer's mind. -

I know I'll be slated for even suggesting this, but the best way of killing off the Mr McMahon character would be by admitting the even that sparked it was a work - ie the Montreal Screwjob. Survivor Series will be 10 years after the event, so keep McMahon away until then and go for it. Then he gets to swell his ego by trying to secure his legacy before he disappears off our screens. -
For sheer "did I really just see that" I think the Huckster v Nacho Man with Billionaire Ted as referee from WM12 deserves a mention... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBpVxIDrb0Q And some of the most disturbing commentary ever: King: "President Regan is watching this, he won't remember it..." King (ref Huckster): "What the pharmacist gave him, Father Time took away."
