Anybody hear anything on the Wii version that's coming out in May? Apparently they're adding Khameleon to the roster and adding motioned-based fatalities. It has potential to be really good on the Wii, or if I know Midway correctly, they'll screw it up in an unspectacular fashion. Of course, it'll be compatible for the GameCube and Classic Controller if they do mess it up. No online, though, if you actually care. I'll pick it up when it comes out mostly because I'm a *gasp* Mortal Kombat fan and actually enjoy playing the games, even the recent ones.

I loved the GTA games, I'm going to miss out on GTAIV just because it'll be long time before I even consider getting an Xbox360. It makes me sad, but I hope Rockstar eventually makes a spin off series for the Wii if Scarface and Manhunt 2 are successful. The system deserves it majorly, and if they put effort into it and not just port the PSP games, the spinoffs could potentially be bigger than the 'main' series.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costing exta? I mean it's a great game and I love it (and will defend it's honor to the death), but it's not worth the six bucks they charge for it. If I had a better paying job, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat to show my support for the game, but as it stands, the extra money just for licensing fees is too much.

I... really don't know what to say. I'd say it's huge, but SEGA is making it. However, Mr. Miyamoto is supervising, that could make up for it. If done right, it could be one of the biggest games of 2008, since SEGA is still good at making sports game last time I checked. The best thing about this it pretty much confirms Sonic in SSBB. And no, I don't think it's an April Fool's Joke. That what Mushroom Kingdom Hearts is for.

I could have sworn it was the highest selling game on the Saturn. I didn't have any sales figures to check so I shouldn't be too surprised. I do hope the game ends up being good if it does come out. SEGA needs to redeem itself very soon here before they become a total joke.

How the heck is NiGHTs obscure? It was the top selling game on the Saturn for crying out loud! You can't say its any more obscure than Virtual Fighter or Streets of Rage where when in fact those games are less popular than NiGHTs was in the day. EDIT: I mean, it's not like they decided to create sequels to Ecco the Dolphin, Shemnue, or Seaman. Now those are obscure SEGA games, even though I'd love an Ecco sequel on the Wii.

I really hope Romance of the Three Kingdoms is not the only game. I've never been a fan Koei's work or strategy games, and I don't think RotTK is a strong enough series in the states to carry a VC week by itself like a Zelda, Mario, or Sonic game would. I was sort of hoping for Star Fox 64 or TMNT, but I guess I have an excuse to get Beyond Oasis this week now, and perhaps Splatterhouse.

I agree that Advent Children was a horrible horrible movie. I've played and enjoyed FFVII for multiple reasons, but I've always disliked Cloud and Sephiroth, thinking that they were the weakest part of the game, so it's obvious that they're going to the focus of the movie. Let's find the positives of AC: The Music The graphics where pretty (although a step down from anything Pixar did in the past five years. Finding Nemo has more impressive CGI for crying out loud!) The Turks were funny... ...That's it, really. Seriously, when the music is the best part of a movie, you know it's bad.

Splatterhouse and Beyond Oasis both seem like good games. One of my friends is actually going to give me money to buy Splatterhouse, that's how excited he is for it's release. I guess I have to wait another week before I can play the awesomeness that is known as TMNT for the NES. Hard, yes, but a fun hard. If you like Super Ghouls and Ghosts, there's no reason you should hate the NES TMNT.

I've been thinking lately about the Triple H vs. Cena match last year and I wondered how different would things be today if the crowd reacted differently. Instead of of the crowd being 100% anti-Cena and pro-Triple H, they've decided to totally crap on the match like Big Show/Batista match on ECW? Booing every move, every kickout, every comeback, chanting "You both suck!"? Would Triple H still have turned face? Would Cena still be the number one guy as Vince didn't want him to be viewed as a failure? Would the main event scene be any different, if so for the better, or would we have seen Chris Masters with a JBL reign? Would WWE even see it as the crowd sick of seeing Superman Cena and Triple H main events, or they just saw that they chose the wrong venue for WrestleMania and had a smarky crowd?

Yeah, it gets unfairly crapped on because of it's insane difficultly level, even though it's simple compared to say, BattleToads. I've never personally got past the third level without savestates before, but I still enjoy it way more than the generic beat-em-ups that came out afterwards. Maybe because the first game actually stayed true the comic and not based on the crappy cartoon.

Hate to make this my first post, but before anybody gets too excited, this info hasn't been confirmed. It seems to be one of the cases of EGM's shoddy reporting and everybody believing them.
