It's maddening, because WCW was stubborn to the point of going out of business, and I think TNA's headed in the same direction. It's not even like you need to have a business mind to do something as simple as give the customers a product they like, you just need to be 1. not retarded and 2. not horribly egocentric. The problem with wrestling is it's chockful of the latter -- people who think the world revolves around them and what they want.

TNA would be smart to just never mention, or even allude to, WWE in any form. It worked with Christian's debuting promo, but VKM? The balloons and cookies shit from '04? If anything that's not going to attract new viewers, it's going to make fans of WWE pissed off at the product. The average WWE is who TNA needs to be catering to if it wants to be a true national promotion, it doesn't need to insult those fans by poorly poking fun at something they like.

Perhaps my opinion's totally skewed since I like him, but it seems like Hardy's the second most over worker on Smackdown behind Undertaker. I could really see fans buying into a Hardy title reign.

Bingo. It's very rare for a player to get ejected for an intentional in a college game, unless it's a malicious foul. While not malicious, Oden's foul certainly was intentional (e.g., no play on the ball).

King, not only can USC beat Texas, I think they will. That Trojan team has so many different weapons with Pruitt, Young, Gibson, they really outman Texas, who's not much beyong Durant and Augstine. No question. They really had no right to be here. I was actually expecting that blowout type but I was just saying I'm quite happy to see them perform so well after being slighted by the entire media or just ignored outright. Akron had the type of team that could have been a legit threat to upset although the Lebron James stories would get tiresome. Just keeping Oregon under 60 was a victory much less coming down to the final seconds. Nothing came easy for UO, that's for sure. Any time Brooks penetrated he got bounced around like a pinball.
