Chris Masters & JN News have passed away...

What. The. Fuck. That said I would gladly have "sexual intercourse" with the female Fast Food Rockers.

At his funeral, I hope someone mentions that he AND his twin sister thought Big Boss Man was WCW for life.

    Senshi Quits TNA

Granted it was reported through one of the bullshit NEWZ sites so the validity can be questioned. But I read Sting came to TNA instead of WWE because of WWE's raunchiness, and now TNA just tries to emulate WWE so he's disenchanted with the organization.

    Turning Point

It would certainly fall in line with the other "throw shit at the walls and see what sticks" brand of wrestling reporting I've come to expect. Remember when Alex Shelley, Lethal, Sabin, and basically everyone else was leaving back in the summer?

The Internet is Hurting The Business: Part 1

NoCalMike, I agree 100%. I was a huge TNA fan in the Nashville days because of the X Division, and back in the Styles-Lynn-Ki days those matches got a good 20-30 minutes. Same goes for the AJ-Joe-Daniels matches from '05-early '06. That's what made TNA entertaining for me, but that's gone now because it's just a bad WWE imitator. You're right, in that case it's not on the workers so much as it is on the bookers for giving guys 3 minutes for a 12 minute match. Intensifier, I'm with you as well. It's video game wrestling.

WWE General Discussion - December 2007

What's with this line? Why is it hard to believe someone could be in such pain with only being in the business a few years? Most guys start popping pills early in their careers. It goes to show you how little some of the so called experts know. If he got hooked on pain pills, what he was likely talking about was the withdrawal, which is one of the worst things in the world. I should know because I went through it. Every square inch of your body hurts on top of hot chills. Its absolute misery. And many young people suffer from pain much more than normal due to a variety of reasons, so obviously that little smart ass remark shows they don't really have a clue what the fuck they are talking about in this regard. It's easy for someone who has never really hurt or suffered through pain and addiction to make light of others who do. I don't know how about addiction, but I do know Bryan's really been hurt and suffered through pain, what with being a wrestler and training all the time. In that regard you'd think he'd be less of an asshole with his comments.

The Internet is Hurting The Business: Part 1

Rey had another ECW match where his selling really sold the match and made it memorable, the Mexican Deathmatch against Psicosis. His selling WAS the match. I went on a rant about this on the CTDWAT, but Disco's right about selling. I can't watch guys like the Briscoe Bros., Super Dragon, Kevin Steen because it's like a damn video game: big move after big move with minimal (at best) selling.

    CTDWAT: Indies/Overseas/General

Not quoting the whole thing for obvious reasons, but anyway I like what Disco has to say. I like cruiserweight/X Division wrestling but there are indy guys out there who Internet fans cream over that quite frankly suck. The Briscoe Brothers are the first who come to mind. A Briscoes match is like watching 20 minutes of Smackdown vs. Raw with just big move after big move after big move and hardly any selling. Everyone on the Net loved the Briscoes vs. Steen/Generico, but honestly I thought those matches were shit. Complete and total shit. The only person selling at all in those matches was El Generico, and even his selling was less than it should have been.

    Turning Point

<strike>Latah tonight it's gonnah be Bookah T against Jeff Jarrett~</strike> That definitely had Russo's fingerprints all over it. AJ's reactions were priceless, his current heel schtick is one of the few good things left in TNA. I've given up hope. It's always two steps forward, three steps back: push a good worker like Kazarian, bring in Dustin Rhodes. Build a good homegrown face in Harris, turn him for no reason. Bring in a "WWE reject" Tomko who improves dramatically, job him out once he shows potential.

If you are referring to the IS ROCK BLACK GREAT DEBATE, than I'd have to agree. I could feel my IQ drop every time I read a post. Just terrible. The BLACK ROCK debate has been supplanted by something only slightly less idiotic Marvinisalunatic rants on Hi-Def.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

There are plenty of people in North America who dont care about HD but they're all 90 years old, blind and prefer to listen to Paul Harvey for the rest of the story before they go outside and yell at the kids playing in their yard and giving them a "back in my day.." speech. Well, this certainly qualifies as one of the douchier things I've read on these boards. You're much more entertaining when you're giving everyone a voyeuriffic peek into your love life.

    Worst President Ever?

That's very true, particularly since the public wouldn't have been behind an invasion without the claims, thus Congress wouldn't have so happily punched the ticket to war, thus we wouldn't be there. So yeah, I agree they hurt in the long run.

    Worst President Ever?

Everyone in the nation was being told they were in grave danger of being blown up by WMDs, for months. People were pretty scared of that happening, and these "other good friends" were probably among the overwhelming percentage of the population afraid of being nuked.

    Best President Ever

First or second tenure? I give Cleveland points for doing something rare in American politics- coming back from a controversial loss (and Cleveland was the incumbent, no less) to win the office. President Grover was pretty interesting. Not an 'all-time' president, but 'good'. That's what I was referring to in my initial post. I meant that tongue-in-cheek.

    Impact spoilers for 11/22

You know, I wish they'd pull the trigger on Harris. He's a good worker and a homegrown talent. He blows on the mic, but if he got a "fighting champ" title reign not relying on promos I think that'd be entertaining.
