No, they're not. The Lions gave up 11 TDs thus far which does make them the worst the league. They are the third worst team with giving up an average of 265.8 yards per game. Only Green Bay and Houston are below them.

I'll second "The Dirt"

Mickie James. She'd be better on the eyes than Bret Hart. -

He should do it the old fashioned way and steal passwords. -
Will there ever be a salary cap for MLB?
-
He actually passed a physical and is able to play. I don't doubt that his speed has declined but with the Eagles injuries in the secondary it might not be a bad idea to give him a look.

Life must be pretty awesome knowing that you can turn down $70 million and you'll find some other sucker willing to pay even more.

Bills release Troy Vincent. I'm curious if the Eagles will be interested in him.
-
Scott Keith?

Terrible news. I recall Comcast SportsNet having a special feature on Lidle's flying hobby before he was traded. They had a camera man fly with him and everything.

I haven't had a chance to watch this yet. I'm still bummed that Playmakers got cancelled.

I think most people here would benefit from a few hours away from the precious computer.

What kind of case are we talking about here? I was on a jury for a criminal case in March. We were told ahead of time that the charges included statutory rape of a male child. We were also told that if the subject matter made anyone uncomfortable to speak up. A few people, who were selected, basically said "this makes me feel uneasy" and they were excused. At the time I had nothing better to do so it was an interesting experience, however, it's really not that hard to get out of it. Just say you had a relative who experienced whatever the case is and you don't feel that you can be a fair juror.

Characters that should NEVER be allied.

First thing that came to mind was Austin/McMahon. -
Didn't Cashman just sign an extention last year?
-
I agree that the game was overhyped, but McNabb is having an excellent season thus far.

I don't blame them for spending money, I question who they spend it on.

Oh no, the DX vs nWo fued won't happen now!

Also, the last year the Yankees won the World series (2000) their opening day salary started at $92.5 million. Their salaries have more than doubled since then and they haven't won a World Series. If money buys a championship, then why haven't they won since 2000 when teams such as the Marlins have?
-
And those teams who receive millions from the luxury tax can thank the Yankees later.

I'll start off for the Phillies. Al can point me in the right direction. - We'll need to address the catching situation. Lieberthal is gone, which will save a nice chunk of money - A third baseman is needed. Aramis Ramirez would be nice. - Myers and Hamels are set in the rotation, but Moyer may return to Seattle, Lieber could be used as trade bait, and Wolf may not return. So, we should explore the free agent starting pitchers. Hopefully Gillick will open up to the idea of adding a few arms. - Perhaps shop Aaron Rowand to the White Sox. Victorino has the strongest outfield arm and great speed. He needs to play on a regular basis. Rowand could bring something good in a trade like a pitcher. - Check out some players like Johnny Estrada. I'd like to see some big names get pursued but I doubt that will happen. Although it would be awesome getting someone like Soriano who could lead off and push Rollins down in the order. - Speaking of the batting order, someone needs to protect Howard in the 5 spot. - Relief pitchers would be a nice addition. Geary did well but he was used an awful lot. - Replace the coaches that were fired with some quality coaches. - Eat Burrell's salary and move him. He needs a change of scenery.
