Yeah, I completely understand this. Since college isn't free (for most people), then I'd say it's better to do what you have to before rushing into school and wasting thousands of dollars.

How is this insane? It was a gimmick, like Val Venis, that had short term value but no long term use. In storyline terms, these 5 young kids could not beat 2 middle aged men after weeks and weeks. Separating them from this lousy gimmick lets the decent ones have a chance to actually succeeds and gets the lesser talented Spirit Squad members off TV until they are ready. It's about time this move happened.

I'd say it's the worst thing you can do. I know a good handful of people who "took a year off" and never went back. You have to stay on track as best you can, I think. Trying to survive on wages from lousy jobs teaches the importance of an education. I think the worst thing for someone is having stupid parents who spoil their kids well into their 20's.

As stated, the instructors may not be as knowledgeable as Ph.D. professors, but when you're only there for Gen Ed's (which don't matter) then who cares? Take advantage of the cheaper tuition costs and go from there.

Yeah, this article was mentioned on tonight's Daily News Live. Nothing really new as far as what the Phillies would get. If a pitcher can't be acquired, then a catcher or third baseman would be nice.

Heyman can say the reason ECW folded the first time was because the wrestlers burnt themselves out trying to please the fans. Now, he wants people to slow down so ECW can live forever. I don't know, it sorts works with the cult leader gimmick.

This sounds good, it does. But, it all comes down to the ownership. If they wanted a GM who was a mover and shaker then they would have hired one.

We could trade Aaron Rowand, Cory Lidle and David Dellucci, and it might even make the team better in the short term as well. I'm not saying Rowand's bad, but there's little drop between him and Shane Victorino, and we can shore up another spot. I don't see Rowand getting traded. He's one of the few Phillies players that the fans actually respect for playing hard. Plus, it took Jim Thome to bring him here. Granted, Thome was on the way out anyway, but I still think it would be bad to move him. What about Burrell or Abreu? Also, who do you think is not returning next year? Bell? Lieberthal?

If the ECW relaunch took place in 2005, right after One Night Stand, how much different would it be? Would the addition of Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, Rhino, Mike Awesome, Dudley Boyz, etc. made things better or would the relaunch have become exactly what it is today? I'm just trying to understand is how the formula to ONS 2005, which was a sucess, changed into what is presented on SCI-FI.
