Eric is aweesome.`

Dusty was selling him as the new Kevin Sullivan, so you might not be too far off Jingus. He also has an awesome robe.
-
He should be on Smackdown in the next few weeks.
-
I just seen him on FCW, he has a fun offense, eventhough his finisher would work better as a submission, instead of a modified double arm ddt. He cut a decent promo after the match, using the Kizarny lingo. The gimmick could work if done right.

Who else has this happened to? I seem to recall CM Punk dodging both of those, for one counter-example. Mr. Kennedy I think is the biggest example. Regal?
-
I've seen that entrance live about 12 times, and it never gets old.

Khali is going to kick Signh's ass one day.
-
I'm happy for Khali, it seems like he's enjoying himself now.

They will no doubt add 3D/Jarrett.

Evan isn't sloppy like Billy Kidman.

Show was good, Joe still came out looking like a goof.

WWE General Discussion - October 2008

Obviously, he's not going to end up like Benoit. Although, I could see him ending up like Flair one day, unable to ever completely walk away from wrestling. I was just using them as an example of what can happen if wrestling becomes the only thing in your life. WWE is Cena's life right now, and I'm not sure how healthy that is. His schedule is insane, and he's been doing it for five years now. Just from a fatigue point of view, it has to be difficult. It's only a handful that can say they have done this. Hogan is the biggest star in the history of the business, and he can't completely walk away. You also can say the same about guys like Sting, Foley, Nash, HBK, and Austin. I get what you were trying to say, but it seemed odd to compare Flair and Cena, to Benoit. -
Let's Talk About... The Apter Mags
The Truthiness replied to Cheech Tremendous's topic in General Wrestling
I remember I use to have a room full of Apter mags. One of the funniest things off the top of my head, was this column called "Introducing". There was this Canadian dude talking about, he had no interest in going to WWF, he wanted to be a star Japan. That was all he was focusing on, trying to get to get in one of the BIG 2, in Japan. That guy would debut in the WWE in 1998, with the name was Edge. -
workers who get called great but you disagree
The Truthiness replied to chrislatimer's topic in General Wrestling
Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho, would be my picks. HBK use to be high on my list, in the "good not great" category also, but I learned to appreciate the guy after Mania. He's like the Nas of wrestling. He haD some bad years, but his body of work is too good, to be considered anything less then great. I still think he's overrated, and find him goofy at times when he wrestles, but he's cool. -

I don't think Cena will end up like Flair or Benoit, I also don't think Flair is doing too bad right now. -
Let's Talk About...Diesel's WWF World title run
The Truthiness replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I think you're crazy. Diesel/Bigelow or Diesel/Backlund probably wouldn't be **** barnburners or even *** matches but they surely would have been leagues better than his matches with Sid and Mabel. Backlund and Bigelow are competent at worst and fantastic with the right opponent. Sid like Nash only has good matches against Bret and HBK and I don't think Mabel's ever had a decent match against anybody. And if we're talking about worst champions ever workrate wise, I'd put Sid and Warrior below Nash and maybe Yokozuna too. Not really sure about pre-expansion era WWWF/WWF World Champions but from the little I've seen of them, I don't think any of them were worse than those four And ya know I sure I'm the only one but Sid Vs Diesel could have been a good angle. Hell, the basis of it was pretty decent (Diesel defends the honor of his former friend who brought him into the WWF and gets revenge on batshit insane Sid) but it was just booked so lethargically (like most things in '95 WWF were) and there was really no reason to drag a clearly bored Ted DiBiase and his band of hasbeens and neverweres and a babyface Bam Bam Bigelow with no heat into it. He had a great match with Lashely. -

Co-sign, I always thought UT/Diesel at mania was criminally underrated, it was the match of the night in my opinion. -

Let's Talk About...Diesel's WWF World title run
The Truthiness replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I think Nash said it best, he won the title in 8 seconds and his 1st big title defense was a draw with Bret. I remember going to Survivor Series in 1995, it was my 1st live PPV. Seeing Bret win it from Nash was awesome, because I always hated Nash. I still to this day think that was Nash's best match ever and he wasn't carried. When I think about that match, it's scary how awesome Nash could've been, if he gave a fuck. Like somebody said those last few months in WWF, he was really coming in to his own as a performer. In WCW he became awesome on the mic, and I think him and Scott was a pretty underrated tag team, but he could've been so much more. -
