Taz was awesome; I wish he would've been able to work with guys like Eddie and Benoit around 96-98 eras in WCW. His matches with Bigelow are criminally underrated, as is his work with Sabu and Shane Douglas. I think being in that ECW environment was a bit of a gift and curse when it came to Taz. You was able to appreciate him for not using weapons and shit, like the rest of the guys in the company, but when he became the top guy, he had basically start doing the arena brawls and table spots like everybody else. That's basically what everybody (but Taz and Bam Bam) thought they had to do, to have good matches. So I guess that's who I appreciate.

Hall was just trying to get another big pay day from the WWE.

Ok, I just became a Truth fan.

According to people who have already seen the show, they have given a reason for MVP losing so much lately. Apparently, he needs one more win to get some incentives that was in his contract. This should be very interesting.

I think it was something about them wanting the shows to be fresh.

WWE General Discussion - October 2008

Don't remember much about Shelton's 1st reign, but Kofi's reign didn't seem that great to me, but hey. It seems like Santino has really acknowledged the importance of the championship, and is not just holding as a centerpiece, like a lot of the other champions have through the years. The Honk-A-Meter angle, has really put over the belt in the last few weeks, when he finally loses it, I think it will be a big deal. -

I honestly think Santino has been the 1st guy in years to make the IC title seem important. -

Triple H when he turned face, I know it had to happen, but I never cared for him as face. Shane Douglas after he went to WCW. Bret Hart after Montreal. Booker T after he lost the World Title. Samoa Joe, after his match with Nigel, which was his last match in ROH. The Briscoes after Ladder Warz. Edge after HIAC at Summerslam...I honestly don't see what else he can do in WWE. -

Won notes: WWE wants a more realistic style, which is why Norman Smiley was hired, because of his background in Puro. They are going to start using more KO finishes, too see how it gets over with the fans. Grisham and Strikers both have lost their fathers in the last couple of weeks. Grisham dad was killed by a drunk driver while riding a motorcycle. Striker's dad choked to death on a peach....Damn. Creative feel they are wasting too much time on Satino and Haas. The feeling is they are both entertaining, but neither draw money or bring in ratings. -

WON... -
I picked Ted Dibiase Jr. You can't go wrong with Cade, Bourne, or Kofi.

Well, I personally think that Michaels has been involved in the only things worth watching on Raw this year, with the storyline's with Flair/Batista/Jericho, and whenever I see Orton, I feel like changing the channel. So you're the one...

Where is Sting and Joe?

I always liked The Giant Vs Lex match at GAB 96.

You know Jeff Hardy has beaten MVP in all their matches? Wonder does that count as Jeff burying him?

Yeah, I preordered the 4 disc set also. I wish they could've had a few matches to go with it, but hey. -

I also loved Luger tweener work in WCW. When him and Sting would be coming to the ring, Sting would be slapping the fans hands, and Luger would be telling the fans don't touch him. When Sting would turn around, Luger would start slapping hands with this goofy smile on his face.
