    Shawn Michaels as World Champion

He was booked on top of the show since October 8th, and was used to help start the Flair angle. He went over Michaels and Hardy, and they used him to bring back Jericho. The Michaels and Jericho feuds could've been booked different, but the Hardy feud was booked brilliantly and really cemented him as the top heel on the show, and the man to beat, plus it helped get Hardy over huge. I think in the Michaels feud, they made him look kind of weak, but what heel isn't booked weak against HBK? Jericho is a tricky one, because they wanted to make Jericho's return a big deal, and the only way they thought that could happen was too book him against Orton, who was the Champ at the time. They couldn't bring Jericho in and have him lose his 1st match, and they didn't really have another good heel on Raw that they could've booked against Jericho. So really Orton was the only guy that really made sense at the time, but the thing is you couldn't have Orton lose the title to Jericho (Who was pretty awful at the time), so I could see why they went with that finish at Armageddon. But in the end it didn't really do anything for Orton, and again it made him look weak, but yet again he still stayed over. Orton's reign has had some questionable booking, I agree. He was in a situation where he was the only heel on the show, that was credible enough to book 4 big storylines around, and he ended up looking weak at the time, because the faces he was booked against were all making comebacks or starting angles, which mean they had to have some strong booking. Yet eventhough he had bumps in the road, he stayed over huge and it never seem like his credibility as Champion was hurt, he was still getting plenty heat and a few cheers. Orton should've never been booked against Jericho at Armageddon. He should’ve had a true blow off match with Michaels at Armageddon, where the SCM was legal, and Orton went over again clean. The whole Jericho/Orton angle was a mess and unnecessary, and didn't help either guy, especially Orton. But since The Rumble he's been booked perfectly fine and is seen as the man to beat on Raw. On the subject of Michaels getting the title. I think he should have one more run with the title, he probably deserves it. But I think he said he didn't want the title.

    Shawn Michaels as World Champion

That's what I'm saying Enigma. You just can't right off a title reign as transitional, because the company already knows who the champ will lose his belt too down the road. I don't think anybody will say Cena's reign in 2006 was transitional, eventhough it was reported he was going to lose too Hunter at mania 23, if he didn't get hurt in October chances are they were going to go that route at mania 24 also, but Orton came in and got over. I think it's pretty clear that Jeff Hardy was going to get a run also.

    Shawn Michaels as World Champion

Well, from what I understand the term "transitional champion" means to get the title from a face to another (more over) face, or heel to another (more over ) heel without the previous heel or face losing heat. Like when Ivan Koloff took the belt from Bruno , only to lose it to Pedro, because they didn't want to run a face vs. face match and take a chance on the crowd turning on either guy. A Transitional Champion is a guy who's really a temporary place holder for a short time, so the title could move to another over guy, without hurting the previous champion's credibility. Orton's reign might've started out that way, but I think he gained some trust with the company, and they gave him a pretty strong run with the title. Yeah, the title is going to Hunter at mania, but if Orton gets the title back some time this year, does that make Hunter's reign transitional? If Cena gets the title from Hunter this year, does that make Hunter's reign transitional? I'm pretty sure they know a head of time, who will be champion and when it will happen, so basically every champion is transitional if I go by the "A guy can hold the title for 6 months-year, but they already know who he's going to lose the title too" rule. If Hardy didn't fuck up, and won the MITB like it was allegedly planned, Would whoever he ended up beating for the belt be just a “transitional champion"?

It's wrestling, any champion is a transitional champion if we we're being technical. If the plan is for Hunter to lose the title too Cena or Orton at summer slam. Does that then make Hunter a "transitional Champion"?

Suit or not, Rocky's getting a chant. Whether it's "Please come back" or "You sold out" remains to be seen. More than likely it will be the "one more match" chant.

    Shawn Michaels as World Champion

He's a genuienly good teacher Hawk, he really knows the bible and is really big in the community because of it. I'm sure his name attracted a lot of people, but he doesn't use it as a crutch. I've attended a few revivals at Cornerstone, and there is more than a few stories about Shawn helping a family when some one lost a job, died, or was just a victim of bad circumstances. They told one of the stories on his dvd, but there are a few more stories like that about Shawn in San Antonio.

    Shawn Michaels as World Champion

Nah, I think his bible study classes are a pretty big deal in San Antonio. He has the biggest class in John Hagee's Cornerstone Church, which in the christian world is pretty huge. I can see him not working Smackdown because of that.

    Konnan files lawsuit against TNA

I guess this was directed at me. No TNA shouldn't go out of business, but that's what happens to bad shows. If they can't have logical booking, cosistantly good wrestling, and produce money. They'll go out of business. It might not be good for a few wrestlers, but that's TNA's fault for being a bad wrestling company. There is no reason for TNA to put on such a shitty product, with the money, the roster, and the tv slot they have. There is no excuse for the company to be as shitty as it is.

What? I've liked the build so far, and I think it is going to be very entertaining. Floyd is my favorite boxer, Show is one of my favorite wrestlers, and 50 cent is one of my favorite rappers. I think the crowd is going to be hot, I think they're going too boo the hell out of Floyd and 50, I think they're going to be pulling for Show in a huge way. So this is really the match that I'm looking forward too, I think it's going have a great atmosphere. Both Show and Mayweather have been pricks going in to this, so I believe they're going to be bigger prick during the match. Least surprising post of the day That's cool.

I don't know, JBL has always been pretty awesome too me. He made me interested in Jericho again.

WWE General Discussion - March 2008

I don't think Cena is regaining, I think he has the 12 round film to do, and won't be around that much. I'd like Orton to retain, but Triple H as Champion would be fun also. The thing about this match is I really don’t know who's winning, and I've liked the whole story from The Rumble to now, I hated that The Rumble's legitimacy was kind of ruining to boost the buy rates for NWO (Which was a awesome show), but where they've been doing with it since No Way Out has been great to me. I'm not really feeling Edge/Taker; this is mostly Edge's fault. He doesn't seem like himself, it comes off like he knows he's losing, so he's not putting much effort in to building to the match. I can understand his frustration, but he should still want to give his best going in to this thing. He can still come out looking like gold with a loss to Taker, like Batista did last year. Edge has an awesome character, so adding to Taker's streak doesn't really hurt him. With that said, I feel this will be match of night. Mayweather/Show-This is going to be boss. It's going to have a hot crowd, 50 cent is going to be out there, Floyd is going to be a prick, and Show is going to be a prick, so I see nothing but greatness coming out of this. . Finlay/JBL-Show stealer, I have no doubt that this is going to be a very entertaining brawl. I like that they haven't let JBL and Finlay have any physical confrontation yet. That makes it even better when they finally meet up at mania. MITB: I think this has the potential to be the best one yet, no doubt in my mind that Shelton, Morrison, and Punk are going to do some off the wall spots on those ladders, Now that Jeff isn’t in the match it gives this match the unpredictability that it needs to be special. I see Jericho winning, but I won't be surprised if they went with Porter Flair/HBK; I really wish HBK could've went heel for a few weeks, but it isn't really needed for this match to be good. This might also steal the show; I think Flair is going to put on one more classic. I expect Chavo/Colin after the battle royal, with Colin getting the surprise upset. It'd be a feel good mania moment, and could lead to a few things. Maybe a Dreamer Heel turn, A funny chase to regain the title by Chavo, or it might just lead too Henry, BDV, Khali, or Kane squashing him and taking the title. It'd be a transitional run if he gets it, that's for certain.

I wish people would've never learned the term "X Pac heat", because I don't think they know what it means. It has become a cop out defense for people to make up arguments for wrestlers (mostly heels) they don't like. If a heel gets booed, it's "X Pac heat", but if a heel gets cheered he's over, he's not a shitty heel. That kind of annoys me.
