You got to be fucking kidding me right? No, I'm not. Can you honestly tell me that MVP can carry the company? Are his promo skills good enough to be the top star of the company? ALA Rock, Austin or Cena? I'm not saying that MVP doesn't have a lot of in-ring skills or mic skills, but he just doesn't have enough to be the face of the company. Besides, the face of the company is John Cena, and rightfully so. Not right now, But he Damn sure has Next. The guy has great mic skills, and is one of thge few guys who promo's don't come across scripted like alot of the other guys they call up, or hell guys that've been there for years. He's also a very good worker, who can hold up his end with anybody in the compant. He doesn't have to be carried, and has the best character in the E. So yeah, he's pretty much being groomed for the top spot in the next few years.

Smackdown Spoilers for Nov 23rd...
The Truthiness replied to Thanks for the Fish's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't kniw what they're "going to do", but what I hope they do is bring him back as "The Cracker hating, Thugging and Bugging" heel manager x ten, pair him up with Burke, Shelton, and you can even throw Mark in there too and I'll be a happy man. -
No, I don't think he'll give it to a guy like Kennedy, nor should he, you said he should give guys like Kennedy the rub. Austin said he liked Kennedy, and Implied that he'd like to work with him, but Kennedy stock went down over the last 7 months. I think a match with Cena right now, would be just as big as a match with Hogan. There is no question in my mind that a match with Cena would be 10 times better also.
-
I meant Foley, my bad. No I don't see his career coming dead end, which is why I said it was wishful thinking and agreed with Cena's Torn Pec. But, I don't think he wouldn't be able to work a 15 minute match, where he'll be on the offense the majority of the match, and wouldn't have to really bump until the finish. Not too mention, the stalling and playing to the crowd bit he does, which in itself is entertaning enough to kill time.
-
Austin is selfless? Wasn't he the guy who triied to put over Eddie, but the company fucked him over in a sense. He also did alot for Benoit, Angle, and Jericho. I read that he likes Kennedy, but Kennedy stock has went way down for due to multiple injhuries, and coming oiff like a douche in the steroid scandal. There were 3 storylines that were made especially for Kennedy to be in main event status, 2 of them tanked because of him, and Benoit messed up the other one.
-
Shawn Micheals did it, So did Foley. Both of them take bigger bumps then The Rock. Not really that "fooish of a notion" to believe Rock can work a 15 minute match, especially with Cena. Who'd more then likely take the majority of the bumps, and do most of the selling.
-
He always says "It'll have to be a big Dream Match for him tro consider having a match". I think Cena/Rock could happen in about 3-5 years, If Cena continues to be a huge draw, gains a nice bit of mainstream attention, and stays healthy. I don't think Rock would have a problem giving the fans a 15 minute roller coaster ride, Vince probably wouldn't have a problem shilling out a million for a Rock/Cena match. Presuming Rock doesn't take off and get a steady stream of work. If there's ever a conflict between a movie and a wrestling match, even a dream one, Rock will choose the movie every time. Yeah, you're probably right.
-
I never said he need a dream match to "cement" anything. I agree there is a dream match with him vs Batista, and it will eventually happen. I just believe that he'll one day have a match with Austin and Hogan, I might've been pushing it with The Rock I admit. It may very well be wishful thinking, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that the match can happen.

I'm pretty sure you're right Anklelock, Cena could pull something great out of Hogan where as Austin might try to expose him like Shawn. Where Micheals overseloled against Hogan, I'd think Austin would probably no sell him. I'd personally think WWE will eventually cash in on all the Cena "dream matches" possibilities in one way or the other. I really believe we'll see a Cena match vs Austin, Hogan, and even The Rock in the future.

I think guys like Muraco, Snuka, Superstar, Andre The Giant, and Jimmy Snuka all disagree with you. The shows might not have had the match quality as a NWA Crockett, and AWA. But to say WWE didn't create stars until 1984 is 100% incorrect. They had stars that were selling out the Garde and Shea stadium easily. There also could be a argument, that if Vince would've pulled the trigger on a Graham face turn in th early 80's, instead of going with Backlund as the top babyface, there probably wouldn't be a Hulk Hogan to speak of to this day. Now I'm not saying that is fact, because you can also say Hogan's "Thunderlips" role in Rocky 3 was a major factor for the company also, because it was a good mainstream exposure wrestlers in that era. Still though, Graham could've been the guy just as easily as Hogan. He had the "Pythons" and was a hell of a better talker then Hogan.

Smackdown Spoilers for Nov 23rd...

You do know Eddie is dead, right? "Til Death Do Us Part" and all that. She can date and remarry in real life now. Why not in storyline? She's ugly, man. Ugly chicks don't date. That's gross. If only she had blonde hair and fake tits and shit. I like that he called her "ex-wife" and ignored that the Chyna stuff happening during a rocky period in their relationship. Glad you agree... They had a rocky period most of the time according to the book. -

You do know Eddie is dead, right? "Til Death Do Us Part" and all that. She can date and remarry in real life now. Why not in storyline? Yes, I know Eddie is dead, don't get smart. The way Eddie made her seem in his book, you'd think she was really against the sexual stuff. Plus, I doubt her children would want too see her kissing a guy on the same show their father wrestled on 2 years ago. I mean their father died 2 years ago, I'm pretty sure his Daughters aren't saying "Wow look at mommy kissing on Edge, I'm glad she moved on" opposed to her moving on in real life, which is perfectly acceptable. But hey, It's a great storyline I just really wish it was Kristal instead of Vickie. I actually liked Vickie in the GM role, despite her being unattractive and poor actress. She came off like a real boss that way too me, and alot of her decisions kayfabe wise came off fair and she wasn't all over the show like a typical authority figure character. She made matches and the let the wrestlers do the rest, chastising Knoble being the exception and even that was entertaining. -

Well other then her being ugly and a bad actress, the fact that she gave Eddie so much shit about the Chyna Angle makes her kind of hypocritical. But I digress, if she was Eddie's hot ex wife I wouldn't care in the least bit. -
WWE was making stars way before 1984, cabbageboy. They probably didn't have better cards then NWA in the 70's, but they never had a problem drawing with guys like Bruno, Pedro, and Backlund.

Cena, Batista, Orton, Nitro, Melina, Shelton Benjamin, Elijah Burk, CM Punk, and Kennedy all say HELLO.
-
I think they used A Dojo ran by Dory Funk. They also used USWA to develope some guys also.IIRC

That article is ok, but not anything special. I doubt it'll get fans to leave wwe. -
Where you hear that at, Mecca?

I didn't think they could come up with a more retarded match then a Reverse ladder match, they made me a believer with the "Reverse Battle Royal". I knew they couldn't come up with a more retarded idea then the Reverse Battle Royal, and they made me a believer once again with "Feast or Fired". I now know not to doubt Tna.

I think everybody knows that.

If he keeps using the Redneck Destroyer, Murdoch > Cade. I hate the destroyer, but Murdoch is great. But based on looks, size, and being a pretty good worker, I see more potential in a Cade push. With Dusty Rhodes now behind the scenes, I'm kind of shocked they haven't gone all out and made Murdoch a complete Dick Murdoch clone by now... "Captain Redneck" and all. I think Dusty is just happy to have a job. I don't think the WWE sees dollars signs with Trevor, like they might with Cade. I wouldn't mind a strong single push with either really, I just think Cade has more of realistic chance.

Oh, he does? Well, my apologies are still to everybody I offended, but Jingus.
