or it could be interesting that the top guys can all beat each other every given day it'd be less predictable than the current situation, and isn't that what we want??????

you know what the wwe is missing IMO?????? good heat from every crowd now granted every crowd of ten year old kids and their parents can't be like 1996 philadelphia ecw arena, but don't underestimate how a good crowd can turn a bad match decent, or a good match great. the heat is a big factor in star ratings

maybe it's just me but there's something cool about overweight black guys who can rap you know like eric "badlands" booker who finished second to kobayashi one year at the nathan's hot dog eating contest and is the world asparagus eating champion or bonecrusher who had the hit "never scared" and performed with his shirt off at the BET awards or some crap like that

i'd be intrigued if they book it right, but i can see where such a scenario would devalue the WHC when was the last time a tournament determined the WWE or WH champion?????

john cena retaining the title vs. umaga at NYR, hbk at Wrestlemania, and great khali the second time they fought. all three of those matches you'd think "maybe he'll lose, it'd be the perfect time", but he remained the champion i was also surprised when undertaker beat batista at wrestlemania

i didn't think the last smackdown show was so good live you decide to move all the guys that can go off the brand, and then you claim "the brand doesn't have the depth" lol if there's a perception gap between raw and smackdown, i'd think you fix it by improving raw, rather than tearing down smackdown

these may not be in correct order DARK MATCH- Funaki and Shannon Moore defeat Dave Taylor and Paul Burchill MVP comes out to guest announce the first match Matt Hardy defeats Chris Masters (about as good a match as Masters can have, good heat on both sides) Afterwards, Masters locks on the Masterlock, then MVP beats up on Hardy Finlay beats Jimmy Wang Yang with Hornswoggle interference. I made a food run during this match. Major Brothers beat Chavo and Jamie Noble. Match was plenty boring and Chavo was getting face chants until the Majors turned it up and showed their athleticism. I hope JBL is doing his job because, with the face booking the Majors have gotten so far, they should be getting better pops, but they're not. Maybe this is Brett and Brian's turning point. Chuck Palumbo beats a jobber Torrie beats Victoria Deuce and Domino promise Eugene a ride in their car if he takes on their next opponent. Eugene accepts. Mark Henry beats Eugene via submission in a squash Batista and Great Khali sign the contract for their match. Khali's interpeter tries to say Khali wanted to face a man and not an animal. The segment ends when Khali throws the ring steps in the ring, and Batista throws them right back, along with the table and chairs Edge throws a Mardi Gras party, with a float, costumed figures, and beads flying (how we do it in the N.O.) and confetti. He celebrates for a while, talks about Bourbon Street, then the maskers suround him and one of them reveals himself to be Kane. Kane chokeslams Edge and his pyro goes off. DARK MATCH- Sylvan (w/Maryse????) beats local jobber Steve Kilkenny ECW as seen on TV DARK MAIN EVENT- Batista beats Great Khali via countout (Edge pulled out with injury) this probably isn't one of the better Smackdowns in a while, but the ECW seemed pretty good. Tommy Dreamer and Johnny Nitro got good heat. After the show Matt Striker was the only guy signing autographs out by the parking lot. The most guys like Edge and Batista did was give a wave toward the fans. I bet they get this reaction everywhere they go so they shrug it off after a while. Then again I'm used to Arena Football where the whole home team and occasionally the visitors stay on the field 30 minutes after the game every game and sign. who knows maybe in ten years Matt Striker will be a 5 time WWE champion and those autographs may be worth something

gotta remember that this is World WRESTLING Entertainment and not World Promo Entertainment. i know i'm not the only one to feel like lashley has underperformed with this huge push, and i feel that Lashley can be a badass heel and succeed. he has the perfect finisher for his character with the running powerslam. why he stole edge's spear we don't know his title reign in ECW wasn't an outright failure, but he just seems like the roided-up guy WWE has pushed so many times before while guys who have earned a true push don't get one

SOmeone tell me.... What do these kids see in Cena? He doesnt look like a role model and kids dress up like him like he was the ressurectiuon of Christ.. When I see the Bash at Wild WIngs... Im gonna ask kids what their fav Cena Match is... and why they love him so... 1. Why did you quote the Vis thing? It has nothing to do with your post. 2. Don't bother the kids when they're trying to have a good time. It's a dick move. They're children, let them like who they want. just know that the kid cena fans don't know any better. besides, he's facing bobby lashley it's a lesser of two evils situation and that's why i want cena to win this time

i want someone else to agree with me here, but here's how i feel i think they hated cena for being an affront to the old ECW characters they knew well. you had the suicidal, homicidal, genocidal, death defying sabu, the human submission machine taz, the innovator of violence tommy dreamer which defined their promotion. then you have a white-boy rapper who does the five knuckle shuffle and "U can't see me". what's the one thing we've hated HHH for????? long title reigns. How many days has HHH had the belt since Wrestlemania 21??????? Beleive it or not, 0 (and it's still 0 today) Cena had held the title for 413 out of 434 days at that point since WM21. not to say that had HHH been in that match, he wouldn't have gotten booed, but I think those fans would have respected him far more than Cena. I didn't watch it live, but when I did on youtube, it felt like it was awesome. Even with an opportune run-in, RVD won the most prestigious title there is, the one held by Sammartino, Hogan, Hart, Michaels, Austin, and the Rock.

kennedy would have waited a whole year to cash it in barring the injury he suffered. we don't know how big a star he would have been by WM 24, but two unrelated problems (him and undertaker's injuries) led to a knee-jerk reaction. If undertaker isn't hurt, he'd still be champion. if kennedy isn't hurt and undertaker was, kennedy would have cashed in early with MITB. when kennedy jobbed MITB to edge, he was supposed to be out 6-8 months. i don't know how that would have affected a wrestlemania 11 months away at the time. kennedy would have been back by then. as for the RVD angle Cena was the better choice because the crowd that night in the Hammerstein may have been the smarkiest and smartest WWE crowd ever, and I think they would have had too much respect built up for HHH as a heel to give that match the "Christian thrown to the Lions" feel it had. Any "Cena overcoming the odds" build the match had was logical, since you can relate to Duke's basketball team playing at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Very few road teams win there and that type of atmosphere was what Cena faced.

WWE comes to some places infrequently enough that people go no matter who's on top it's entirely possible that folks who happen to boo john cena go to see someone else on the card. WWE has dealt with that by burying every other potential main event face (Jeff Hardy doesn't count) on RAW that even gets a hint of reaction and doesn't get injured. there are so many different acts though that you're pretty much guaranteed to find someone you like. in a perfect world, the smackdown/ecw shows would still have RVD, Kendrick and London, Kennedy, Sabu, and yes, even Benoit but WWE hasn't been in new orleans in four years, so I can't really afford to be picky.

then why are we so mad that cena's had one for so long?????? and why do we get angry when they're "devalued"????? imagine the WWE without them.

people have been saying they want a legit challenger to cena who's held the belt now for 293 days if he keeps it past raw monday night he'll pass billy graham's 296 for the 9th longest reign of all time by comparison, the longest world title reign was 282 days by batista all i have to say about lashley is "be careful what you ask for, because you may get it"
