i don't mean to be nit-picky, but RVD is just as much a true world champion as anyone else has ever been but king bookah, jbl, and kurt angle have held the top belts recently without looking sauced up but no, c.m. punk is NOT ready to be a world champion anytime soon, and to me, this was his rookie year. i never saw him before last august

terrible idea the show sucks at 2 hours. wrestlers get buried, they don't get over on RAW like they do smackdown. i'm scared that another hour will just mean more cena and lashley

much as we all like matt, he wouldn't have been ready to face edge at summerslam this time anyways the potential feud's gonna still be there, and by this time next year, matt (and MVP) should be credible enough and edge should still be up there make no mistake, i don't think anyone beleives kane will beat edge for the title. it's not happening. but then who else is on smackdown that can challenge for the title????? batista doesn't have another shot, which is a shame, because he's really stepped his game up since losing the title. kane-edge may have to go for a while

should have seen him vs. MVP he also won the gimmick battle royale at SN's ME IIRC

I'm wondering what they're doing or thinking about behind the scenes to change and look at ideas like an offseason, lighter schedule, etc. maybe i'm an internet fan with too much time on my hands. maybe the WWE wants me to pay my $30.00 for my ticket, watch the TV programs, hit their website, and shut up. I'm not that kind of person, and I definitely won't be that kind of fan

kane????? i don't think he's gonna win this time, but it's worth making him more credible. for all he's done in his career, he deserves to hold a world title for more than 24 hours when it's all said and done but it's not gonna happen for him vs. edge

Who is Festus? Was that a vignette, cause I didn't see any vignette in my rls of SD? Just before returning they had a bit of two wrestlers announcing their arrival on Smackdown. Festus bascially had a Lenny from Of Mice & Men thing going (sans the talk about rabbits and living off of the fat of the land) just a slow, mute fellow, essentially Kane as he was first introduced. Aren't these the guys who already debuted on Smackdown, asked Teddy Long for a match, were promised one the next week and were never to be seen again (until apparantly this week)? they were, matter of fact it was the SD! where edge won the title. afterwards they got "lost" in their "pick-em-up truck" on the way to the next show

relax cena-orton will be the hogan-sting of the next generation i can assure you that we'll see them wrestle plenty of times in the next 20 years there's a lot of feuds they can go through beforehand, like edge-orton, cena-batista, cena-kennedy, orton-lashley, etc.

cena his title reign's hulkarific booking is one thing, but he's consistently had great matches he had ****1/2 vs. HBK on wrestlemania and RAW and those aren't MOTY candidates and the royal rumble cena-umaga match is plus in june he's made khali look decent and johnny nitro look tough, which is a tough task you might not like his character or his booking, but give the performer his due

yeah BUT in benoit's mind it may have been the thing that pushed him over the edge if you think you've got years left at the top, but the management wants you to accept a lower role (and ECW is a lower show than Smackdown), i'd imagine you take it pretty hard
