Remember when tag teams had to go no farther on the apron than the length of a Rope?

 

remember when they use to choke people with those ropes

And remember the days where if you didn't hold on to the rope and keep both feet on the apron for the tag to count? Now you can be halfway in the ring when you tag and they count it. *sigh*

it was also a tool for heels to cheat with and choke heels remember.

 

a famous incident involving tag ropes that i remember is from summerslam 88. for some reason right before the main event when all the wrestlers are in the ring jesse ventura changes the tag ropes to neutral corners.

About a year ago, not even, They had an article in the WWF Magazine about Tag Ropes, saying we should all petition to bring them back etc and it described what was their purpose and stuff, It was cool, We should petition, maybe it'll bring SOME sort of life to the tag team division

They should bring back tag ropes. I can't tell you how much it bugs me to see some Teams make tags IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING and have the ref count it.
