Anyway, I'll dissect it piece by piece. -nWo Segment: Anyone else think they messed up and gave their "We want a second chance" to the fans and "We're gonna kill you all" to the boys? At least they made fun of Last Call Hall. -Tag Team Turmoil: Christian and Lance are being wasted. Scotty and Albert ARE a waste. Jeff Hardy has WAY too many ball shot-oriented moves, and not in the Ric Flair sense either. Jeff lingers. Alcohol-ytes (I made a funny) will face Outsiders at Mania. - Rambling Flair Promo: Rambling Flair Promo just about covers it. -Van Dam vs. Goldust: Sweet Jesus did this match drag. And Van Dam needs to work on his long term selling. The back injury disappeared. And I don't like how he does that "Completely exhausted after ***** Splash, then jump up two seconds later" -nWo-Austin: Surprise, surprise, Hall had the beer. -Booker and Crap vs. Tazz and Spike: Test killed the match. The hot tag had no heat. Test is death to anyone who wants a hot match. -Rock Promo: He didn't sound like he had a concussion. Perfect: Curt was Smashed. -Edge Vs Regal: Boring, Boring, Boring. God I hope this feud is over. Right man went over. I can't watch another Edge IC run. -Angle Promo: Seemed really forced. -Taker vs. Rock: I liked it. Way too overbooked though. Flair vs. Taker should be pretty bad. -Angle vs. HHH: YES YES YES! Way too many ref bumps though. I would have drawn the line at 37. HGH still sucks. -Angle leaving: "I'm going to Wrestlemania" made me mark out. -nWo/Rock: I love when old gimmicks are trashed. -Austin vs. Jericho: Pretty bad. REALLY DRAGGED. nWo Beatdown: Weak ass heel beat down, as only Hall would do anything, and he's fat.
Guest The Vanilla Midget Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 my thoughts pretty much exactly, though you were pretty harsh on the rvd-goldust. it was watchable, and one of the better matches on the card. at least rvd won, even though it makes little to no sense. i was happy that test jobbed, and i though all the "smart" references by hall in the opening promo were a bit stupid.

HHH is so bad that Angle couldn't even carry him to anything decent...Jericho can't do any better with him. Here's to hoping that Angle makes it to Mania. BUT you are being to hard on RVD/Goldust.

It would have been awesome if it didn't drag to the point that moves were being repeated. And it was kind of slow paced. But I liked the first 3/4 of it, until it got dull.

Like every match practically. RVD-Goldust was decent but Goldies rests WAY too much. I'm still shocked they let Angle win without NWO interference. I agree with you for the most part bps but at least the NWO interference was isolated to the last match...but all the ref bumps F***!!!!

Having "injected the poison", he shouldnt give a damn about any wwf match. The only match that he could have logicly cared about is the HHH/Angle match cuz his little girl was involved. And as for that match, did there have to be 41 ref bumps in one contest? In the main event, they seemed more interested in chopping each other than building a good match. As for positives..... I thought Scott Hall was funny.
