But that's for another time.

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 Just about impossible to do. If you asked me tomorrow, you'd get a different answer. Hell, if you ask me in three hours, you'll probably get a different answer. The Beatles - "Let It Be" The Clash - "Train In Vain" Modest Mouse - "Styrofoam Boots/It's All Nice On Ice, Alright" R.E.M. - "Nightswimming" and, probably the grand prize winner: U2 - "All I Want Is You" ("Acrobat," "With Or With You," and "The Fly" are close, close, close, but only this one can make me tear up. So beautiful.)
Guest bob_barron Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 I love Acrobat as well- it's a really powerful song that gets me going. The DVD Live from Boston version of "The Fly" is super awesome.

Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 I love Acrobat as well- it's a really powerful song that gets me going. The DVD Live from Boston version of "The Fly" is super awesome. I had the good fortune to be at the opening concert of the Elevation Tour in Miami. That was the night they debuted the new version of "The Fly." The extended intro had us all so confused and enchanted at the same time, and when the opening riff dropped in, the place went absolutely nuts. Standing 10 feet away from the stage while all that happened around me was probably one of the most transcendent moments I've experienced. They must tour again...mmm...
Guest bob_barron Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 They must- good call. I saw them live twice- in NYC in October- awesome concert and at the Super Bowl- I think I was the only one screaming for another song. But you saw opening night- damn you
