3.) VivisectVI

4.) Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse (Because "God's Gift Maggot" is the best song title ever)

5.) The Process.

I've always felt that Mind, despite having some good tracks on (God's Gift Maggot, Stairs & Flowers), came off as more of a prototype for their later successes...

Is it dense of me to say that 69 Love Songs is too fucking long? There's a lot of good shit there, that's a solid 2 hours of fucking magnetic fields right there, man. I can't handle all of that. And most of my favorite songs are spread out from disc to disc, so it's not like i can say "well i like disc x much better than all the others" and listen to that one.

No, I get the most enjoyment out of it when I put it on shuffle and listen to maybe 45 minutes to an hour of music. The whole thing in one dose is pretty overwhelming even if I like almost every song individually.

just to make it easier, i only chose the tracks on 'the pod' that counted as real songs. i do love lines like "A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-N-O-P-Q-S-T-A-L-L-I-O-N, i am the stallion, mang" and "on my dick you should sit," but it's just noodling.

5. hello nasty

5a. super disco breakin'

5b. intergalactic

5c. three MC's and one DJ

5d. the negotiation limerick file

5e. remote control

nothing terribly interesting or surprising about that list. i'd really like to put 'ill communication' as high as 2, just because it's got my favorite unified sound & texture of all their albums (the instrumentals especially really shine), but the songs just aren't that great on the whole. 'hello nasty' is sort of useless, even at its best.
