Guest sk8420kid Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 I thought it was great. The Queen Spider, Martha Stewart shoving a turkey up her ass, the whole town turning into atheists. South Park is on a roll so far this season.
Guest HBK16 Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Dammit! I missed it. Oh well, they will replay it every day until next Wednesday.
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 Stan's dad freaking out in church after that dream sequence had me stitches for hours. "The Catholic Boat!"
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 South Park Season One is coming on DVD in November. The 3 disc set will have audio commentary by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Joy!
Guest GenerationNever Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 I'm ALWAYS up for Catholic hate. Sweet episode.
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 So trey and matt became catholic to parody their religion? eh smart i guess.
Guest EQ Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 South Park Season One is coming on DVD in November. The 3 disc set will have audio commentary by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Joy! HOLY SHIT! REALLY? Not that I don't believe you, but do you have a link to this?
Guest Mark4steamboat Posted July 7, 2002 Report Posted July 7, 2002 season one was their best season IMO. not that any seasons have sucked but i have a special place in my heart for the inagural season.
Guest C.H.U.D. Posted July 7, 2002 Report Posted July 7, 2002 Not that I don't believe you, but do you have a link to this? I read about it at The Digital Bits and DVDFile, and they got the news from the official South Park website here. I can't find it on the South Park site, but the announcement is there somewhere. Warner hasn't confirmed it yet, but I can't imagine they would lie on the website (and mis-inform other sites in the process).
Guest C-Bacon Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 i haven't watched south park in the longest time till i started downloading the newer episodes which are great. did anyone else feel all emotional in the episode where kenny actually dies??? never thought i'd get all teary-eyed from south park of all things..
Guest Ripper Posted July 9, 2002 Report Posted July 9, 2002 I just loved how they went in such a big circle to say that atheist and religious fanatics are spewing a bunch of crap from their mouths. South Park- theres always a message.
Guest Mattdotcom Posted July 10, 2002 Report Posted July 10, 2002 I figured out the meaning if it all at about the halfway point. Laughed my ass off when I realized it. did anyone else feel all emotional in the episode where kenny actually dies??? No, I was laughing my ass off, but only because I thought it was a big joke. It still is, in my book.
