the raven match at backlash was the best wwf hardcore match ever, no question. WHY didn't they push raven after that? The crickets were audible in his entrance and he was hugely over by the end.

i thought his wicked backlash match would lead to a bigger push. his match with the sandman from hardcore heaven 00 was pretty good as well most of his matches with kid kash.

Best match? I liked the match with Jericho at SummerSlam. But the match with Raven is probably No. 1.

I'm glad this topic popped up because I, for one, cannot wait until the Man-Beast's return.

 

Oh yeah, as for favorite match, hmmm...it's difficult, because Rhyno was simply awesome before he got injured and he subtly became one of the best workers in the WWF (I know, a pretty bold statement, but he seemed to improve every time he wrestled and that fact alone should not be overlooked). Unfortunately, I haven't seen a lot of his PPV matches from last year (Backlash Hardcore Match, included). He had a great match with the Rock in late Summer that went over the 10-minute mark on RAW. Also, Rhyno was such a bad-ass in those 6-man tag matches in which everything would break down. Alright, enough rambling, his match against Jericho at Summerslam is probably my fave.

i can't wait for rhyno to return either. he was one of the more over alliance stars during the invasion because like rvd the fans pop for his moveset. i am hoping that rhyno will return bigger and stonger than ever and hopefully he will play a major heel role when he returns. i would like to see him in the kind of feud he had with the sandman back in ecw, only with a little better of a wrestler.

I liked the Angle/Rhyno match from October 22, 2001, when Angle won the WCW US Title better that the 9/13 one. I thought that match was great because it was given more time and I enjoyed it more.

 

Either that, or vs. Raven at Backlash are my favorites.

Fave: vs. Jericho, SS 01 (I was INCREDIBLY impressed with Jericho working with a concussion that whole match.. Rhyno was jsut vicious and both got over well)

Best: vs. Corino in ECW

Worst: some of his early ECW stuff
