Ron looks like a mix of Hogan, Scott Steiner and Superstar Graham.

Heck, If he makes it to the WWF, he can debut as "Superstar" Ron Waterman, a combo of a cheating heel and a dangerous submission based heel. In other words, he can cheat, but if he gets a big enough opening (or if he turns face), he uses moves like those he used in UFC.

I'd put Waterman on RAW also.

Well.. they have to cheat from time to time or else they'd end up becoming faces quickly.

I doubt that, SEVERELY.

I think a heel can be jsut a compelte dick in all his interviews and promos and play that dickishness in his matches as well, while getting clean wins and ocassionally cheating.

Hell, Kurt Angle's gotten a ton of clean wins, and he's never lost heel heat ever. Hey did get a clean submission out of Hogan, did he not?

that is true. Although Angle also has alot more charisma than alot of WWF guys in the first place which helped him get over as a heel.

Something tells me Waterman may not be the most charismatic man, but he could get over. Maybe as a client of the new agent DDP or something. :)

I don't know about him, isn't he like 38-39? I don't think he has much time left.

They can always do the "silent monster heel" gimmick...

Wasn't Kane pretty over with that when he first came in? (Oh no wait nevermind I don't want to hear the "he was getting the rub from Taker" complaints)

Even then, how hard can it be to have charisma? Hell if Chris Benoit and Lance Strom can get over as heels without cheating (which they've done, except for maybe the possibility of Storm in a couple cases), then I'm sure a rookie can too. Especially since one of the top traits the WWF looks for is charisma.

You are actually pretty close, from his http://www.ovwrestling.com/ bio, he is listed as 35 years old. Here is some more information from it in case you are wondering...

FAVORITE WRESTLERS GROWING UP: Tony Atlas, British Bulldogs, Ivan Putski, Junkyard Dog

...now let me ask you guys this. If WWE isn't much for "old guys", then why in the hell did they sign a guy his age, not just to a contract, but a DEVELOPEMENT contract? Are they even going to bring him in, or is he just an OVW'er for life? You are right, he don't have many years in him anyhow, unless he's some sort of "special guy", sorta like DDP was (wasn't he pretty old when he started active wrestling in WCW?).

why is cena wearing sting facepaint in that pick?____^

Well, that is a picture from SD taped on Tuesday and aired tonight. Most think that the only thing they retaped was the thing in the main event, but little do most know, they also taped two different angles for Cena. One that was shown, and the other one which was him in this face paint, doing a rip off of Sting's gimmick. They decided to not air that one, as they didn't feel the fans were ready yet! This is ALL TRUE, I promise. :o :o :o

Cool, not too many people do the semi-painted face thing any more.

I seen Waterman in a dark match on a Smackdown in November (The SD where Heyman cut that promo on Vince), and he was the most impressive of all the developmental wrestlers showcased (Orton, Lesnar(who was total shit in the ring when I first seen him, he came out wearing a beret) Rico, and Waterman). His ring presence and ring work were solid.

If you like it so much, you could always get Photoshop and put face paint on wrestlers.

Ha. Back in January, I saw Waterman and Lesnar tag in a dark match prior to Smackdown against the APA. I was chanting BPP and H20 throughout the whole match, and I don't think anyone in my section understood why because they were giving me that "what the hell" look. At the end, I gave them that look as they went nuts for Bradshaw's clothesline from hell on Waterman for the win..

Oh, and I might admit that I also saw Randy Orton vs MR PERFECT! Even in a dark match, he let Orton have the first 95% of the match before dominating the last 30 seconds and winning with the perfect plex.

Oh, and I also saw AJ Styles vs Rico Constantino. Styles hit an awesome SSP to the outside that got almost zero reaction from the crowd for some reason, maybe because the North Charleston Colliseum was still filling up.

Amazing that the match was not the WWE style of cruiserweight match...

I saw KURT ANGLE in a dark match in October of 1999.

ATHLETIC BACKGROUND - HIGH SCHOOL: Football, wrestling, baseball

All-Conference football

All-Conference baseball

All-Conference wrestling, team captian, MVP, district and state champion

Oh, he's a RAW wrestler if I've ever seen one, bah gawd! Lord, he even has Hogan's crucifix...

At the February house show in Seattle, Waterman was a big time over. Big H2O chants. I think with enough refinement, him and Cena have the most to give. Only problem is he looks like Steiner. They signed him in 1999 didn't they, or maybe 2000.

When Waterman debuts, how long will it take before somebody calls him "Waterboy"?

Why do all heels have to cheat?

The way the WWE is now, if they don't, they'll end up taking the Triple H tweener of doom route. The one thing I hate is that heels need interference to cheat, instead of cheating by themselves (which makes them look smart instead of weak)......

How do you think Downhome managed to have a picture of Cena wearing facepaint against Kurt Angle?

I saw Waterman and Lesnar vs. Orton and Rico in a dark match before RAW in February 2002 in Vegas and it was damn good except for the bastards next to me chanting "Let's go H20" I just wanted to fucking kill them.
