Well.... how about this: My ex (we still love each other.. long story) has a HORRIBLE relationship with her father. Hell, she refers to him as her "sperm supplier". So, one day.. she just called me 'Daddy'. She said she always wanted someone she could trust enough and love enough to call that. So that's how it went down. Make some sense? I hope so.
