Guest jama Report post Posted July 6, 2002 Will benoit, angle, rvd, Jericho, storm, booker t, and eddy be in the main events on a permanent basis? When benoit along with Saturn, eddy, and dean, left the wcw I thought benoit was inline for the main event push. His first duty was the put over HHH. During that time the WWF was none for pushing new talents to the main event than wcw but since they have arrived no one has been elevated to a permanent MAIN EVENT SPOT. People say these guys are not ready for that spot but I disagree. I believe these guys are better than HHH, Undertaker, and Hogan. It’s always something different these guys are not big enough, they can’t work ( Jericho a few months ago, now RVD) they can’t talk neither can Undertaker and Hogan. I believe that if the wwf give these guys the main event push they will be able to reach it. What I find degusting is that someone like BROCK could receive this push and we are suppose to love it when they wouldn’t push Jericho because he never paid is wwf dues. I remember a couple a years ago when Benoit, Jericho, and Angle were all going into a pay perview were they all could have become MAIN Eveners if the wwf would have put them over but no the jobbed all of them. I’m tired of untalented guys getting pushed yet talented guys like these are left behind. I guess the reason for this rambling is that BENOIT my favorite wrestler will never get the respect he deserve from the wff and he will never be given that main event spot. While he had a good match with bubba, The WWF could have done much more with the man. HE returned a year latter to feud with Bubba and Spike while Nash I inline for the mainevent. The only thing I wished the wwf would do is let these guys wrestle without the wwf restrictions. I believe this is killing the wwf more than any other thing. Look at the cruiser weight devision they are all wrestling like the BIG GUYS and that is limiting what these guys can do. If the wwf would let everyong wrestle the style that they like the product would be even better. While the stories suck the matches would be able to carry the program. They have the most talented bunch of guys ever assemble and are not having consistent 3 and 4 star matches that is ridiculous.
