Guest bob_barron Report post Posted July 12, 2002 Halloween Havoc is just hilariously bad that you can't help but like it. Plus- Stevie Ray on commentary!
Guest kingkamala Report post Posted July 12, 2002 I can sum it up like this. Halloween Havoc 2000 was surreal in its badness. I mean it was really bizarre. You had Awesome and Vampiro fucking up everything they did. You had 10 Stings attacking the real Sting (echoes of Black Scorpion?), a lot of it was crackhead booking. Halloween Havoc is a PPV that can at least be laughed at, which qualifies as having some value. Yeah well so was Uncensored 2000, you had the fucked up Dustin Rhodes-Terry Funk match where the guy in the chicken suit attacks Terry Funk, you had the lumberjack match where all the lumberjacks had broken arms, you had a grown man drinking out of the toilet and Norman Smiley and The Demon fighting Lane and Idol, and Three Count jobbing to Brian Knobbs. I think Uncensored 2000 is a good PPV to just sit back and laugh at. And Mr. Barron I once requested you to due a review of Halloween Havoc 2000 and you refused to just for it's sheer badness and the fact that you couldn't sit through it . Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted July 12, 2002 Well, it all comes down to context really. See, I would say overall that March 2000 was ground zero for WCW. In Oct. 2000 there was at least some amount of entertainment to be found overall. And when it comes down to it, Uncensored leaves the viewer feeling really insulted. Even the laughable stuff is really embarrassing. Halloween Havoc is a spectacle of Russoian badness. Jaw dropping weirdness. I found myself laughing my ass off at that show.
