Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted July 8, 2002 well, after the upsets of week one, week 2 certainly was predictable. williams-williams singles final and win the doubles (iirc) hewitt wins the singles in a cakewalk after henman again chokes in the semis its just too bad this tournament ended like this, because it was pretty obvious after about the 3rd round that nobody could beat hewitt (although schalken did very well). bring on the us open, back to back!!! Guest Crippler15 Report post Posted July 8, 2002 I am continue to be disappointed with the Williams/Williams finals. The first set is always great but after that it is just like one of them always gives up. One of these days they will just let loose and the game will be awesome. I really thought it would happen Saturday since they both had something to lose but oh well.
Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted July 11, 2002 Stupid Williams-Williams final. By the rounds of 16, I was pulling for Krajicek and Mauresmo to win it all. Krajicek was ranked #1093 I think, and to see him beat Hewitt inthe final would've been awesome, since he said he was just doing it for fun. As for the women's draw, I was pulling for someone, ANYONE, to the inevitable, but Henin and Mauresmo both choked. And Paradorn Srichaphan is the coolest name I've ever heard.
