Guest Moondog Spot Report post Posted July 8, 2002 HULK HOGAN VS. STEVE AUSTIN I really wanted to see this match, sure it wouldn't be a 4-5 star match but as a fan it is the WWE DREAM Match, the battle between the company's 2 biggest stars of all time!! But since Austin is gone we may never see this match.
Guest the pinjockey Report post Posted July 8, 2002 Yes the match will be made at some point because there is too much money to be made from it. If Vince waves a huge amount of cash in front of Austin's face he would come back for a short term deal pop out the match and probably leave again.
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted July 8, 2002 No, because Austin was kept way too far away from Hogan durring the period when that match could have happened for it to be coincidense, and I think Austin was trying his damdest to keep away from the guy. The way things are now, I doubt the prospect of working with Hogan (even for a ludicrous sum of of money) isn't going to bring him back.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted July 8, 2002 And you had to Have the Pic as Big as a Full Sized flag hmm We don't even know if Austin is ever coming back, so lets not start booking his feuds.

Umm... he wasn't. But anyway, you can't use the "there's too much money to be made" really because that's been said countless times about many different feuds that never came to be... example: Bret Hart vs Hogan. Never happened, mainly do to Bret's injury. In this case, I think Hogan will be retired and gone before Austin comes back if he ever comes back. However, I've said this before and I'll say this again, Austin does not hate Hogan. If you've ever read an Austin "shoot" interview, especially the one done at PWtorch.com when he first entered the WWF, he was asked about his feelings on Hogan, and guess what? He said that he had no ill feelings towards the guy. He was just skeptical of him still being a draw.
