But since you apparantly intended it to be a top-rope one, I'll counter that. Before he has the chance to lift you, jump out from the buckles, taking him with you. Then fall to your back. Top-Rope DDT. (See Malenko/Scotty, WWF Backlash(?) 2000) New Move: Bridging Indian Deathlock/Chinlock. Guest Dace59 Report post Posted July 20, 2002 Avalanche is the Japanese and correct term for tope rope verisons of moves. No Brainbuster EVER drops straight down. A Brainbuster is ALWAYS a back bump, the opp. just lands with their legs in the arm and lays out very quickly. And with that counter you'd probably kill both people cracking your heads off the turnbuckles. Anyway: Inverted Indian Death lock with Birdging Inverted Chinlock (A normal indian deathlock has the opp sitting face up, legs in the lotus mediation possition, no one really uses, they all uses inverted indian deathlocks) Counter: Over head chops/shootis to the neck/face. Dace, like I said, check out that Scotty/Dean match. It's very possible, seeing as how they used it. Of course, it was the counter to a superplex, not an avalanche brainbuster, but since both moves start in the same position, why not? And I'm really pondering this spinebuster one...but I am at a loss...unless... What about going forward and grabbing the attacker's head, then taking him down in a DDT when he slams you?
