The One & Only wrestling wish list thread

We posted this over at Vanilla Midgets, and I thought it might be a thread that would get over well here, too.

 

A couple things I would ask of you before you post in this thread:

 

1. Please don't flame other people's wishes.

2. Please don't wish something that involves flaming or flame-baiting other posters.

 

Here are a few of my wishes:

 

I wish Vince would stop bending over for the Clique.

I wish for Lance Storm to get up to at least IC level and remain up there for the rest of his career.

I wish people would stop looking at ALL of the HHHaters/Angle marks as sheep, followers, bandwagon jumpers, etc.

I wish for RVD/Benoit as my main event at WrestleMania XIX.

 

That's all I can think of right now. If I think of more, I'll post them.

1) I, too, wish people would stop lumping HHHaters and the like together and saying "They just jumped on the bandwagon!" Did it not occur to you that maybe... just maybe... they hate Triple H?

 

2) I wish Nash a speedy recovery.

 

3) I wish RVD/Taker for the title headlines Summerslam. RVD wins, and Taker does the same thing with Jeff Hardy - play the heel going in, show respect going out.

Benoit gets put into a solid program

The clique loses their stroke quickly

Younger people start getting put higer onto the card

The cruisers be allowed to do high-flying moves

HHH stops lifting weights

I wish Eddie Guerrero would have some creative direction

I wish NWA-TNA would go national and give some competition to the WWE so they can pull there heads outta there asses!

I wish HHH would retire...no wait...then he'll just take a permanent seat backstage...damn...

 

I wish Angle would win the title from Taker at Vengeance...RVD beats Taker at Summerslam, then loses to Angle (who cheats) at Unforgiven...then RVD goes on to win the Rumble and finally claim the title at WrestleMania from Angle (who should be dominating until said point)

 

I wish Nash would retire...oops...almost there.

I wish anyone over 40 was nowhere near the top of the card.

 

I wish the fed would start putting on 15-20 minute matches with some degree of regularity.

I wish Hogan has one final match at Wrestlemania 19...and then that's it. Period. He's gone.

 

I wish the roster split would die forever.

 

I wish every TV main event was HHH/Austin vs. Benoit/Jericho material.

 

I wish Benoit got turned face and pushed to the fucking high heavens.

 

I wish Vince and Bret could put their problems aside and let Bret have one final run (non-wrestling) in the WWE...the way it should be.

• I wish WCW never went out of business.
• I wish ECW never went out of business.
• I wish XPW would finally realize that B-Level Russo booking (yes, it's that bad) doesn't work.

I wish people would see CZW as more then a fed where people zap each other with weedwhackers, and see that there are legit good wrestlers in there, as well.
