WWF Monday Raw

July 22, 2002

Intro

[black screen: fade into the WWF logo and intro. Fireworks go off and the crowd is hot! JR comments on this being the NEW WWF, and the NEW Raw. Two separate graphics flash. The first is for the WWF Raw IC Title Tournament:

Big Valbowski

Test

Justin Credible

Hardcore Holly

Randy Orton

Hugh Morrus

Saturn

Shawn Stasiak

JR comments that we will see Valbowski/Test and Holly/Credible here tonight. The other two will take place on Sunday Night Heat. Then this graphic shows for the WWF Raw Title Tournament:

The Rock

X Pac

Chris Jericho

Kevin Nash

Chris Benoit

Eddie Guerrero

Rob Van Dam

Triple H

JR comments that we will see every match here tonight except Jericho/Nash which will take place on Heat. JR is then cut off by Eddie Guerrero’s music.]

WWF Raw Title First Round Tournament Match

Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero

[Guerero comes out to huge heel heat as he taunts the crowd. Benoit’s music comes on next and the crowd is mixed. These two put on a great match as was expected. The end came when Guerrero rolled Benoit up and had a handful of tights. Benoit was shocked after the match and was berading the ref, so he didn’t see Guerrero sneak in the ring with a chair. Guerrero cracked Benoit in the back of the head with the steel chair and left to huge heat. As Eddie is leaving up the ramp, we see Chris Jericho kick his TV monitor and storm out of the door and head down the hallway. JR states that Jericho must be coming to the ring.]

COMMERICAL

[back from break, we are shown a replay of Guerrero’s win followed by his vicious attack. As we cut back to the ring, Benoit is now starting to get up as Jericho is now heading down the ramp with no music. The crowd is booing like mad at the sight of Jericho.]

Interview with Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit

[Jericho comments about how he and Benoit are constantly screwed by the WWF. Mentions how his Undisputed title run was a joke, etc. He says that is because of “politics”. He says that he and Benoit are in more danger than they have ever been. The nWo is on Raw, and Triple H is as well. Crowd pops at the mention of HHH. Jericho says that even though he denies it, Jericho knows that HHH will join the nWo. Jericho says that HHH played and plays a big part in Jericho becoming a joke in the WWF and now he, along with his buddies, will make lives miserable for people like him and Benoit. Benoit looks confused as Jericho turns to him. Jericho brings up his and Benoit’s history and says that it was a WWF conspiracy to break them up during the first split. Now that Benoit is back, Jericho suggests that he and Benoit band together to overthrow the nWo power trip. Benoit looks a bit unsure as he heads out of the ring and back up the ramp. Jericho says Benoit will see the light. Jericho warns RVD to watch his back tonight. His opponent is HHH and Jericho says that HHH and the nWo have something up their sleeve. Jericho drops the mic and the crowd is in shock. JR doesn’t know what to think as he sends it to the back to Michael Cole who is with Eddie Guerrero.]

Backstage interview with Eddie Guerrero

[Michael asks Eddie about his match. Eddie says that he just beat one of the best wrestlers in the world today and that the WWF better watch out. Eddie says that this tournament is going to be Eddie Guerrero’s time to shine and that no one will be able to stop him.]

COMMERCIAL

[back from break, we are shown clips of Jericho’s speech. We then cut to Kevin Kelly who is in HHH’s locker room.]

Backstage interview with Triple H

[Kelly asks for HHH’s thoughts about Jericho’s comments. HHH says Jericho is full of crap and always has been. The crowd pops at HHH’s comments. He says that yeah, he is buddies with some guys in the nWo, but that’s it, they’re buddies out of work. He says that he is his own man in the WWF and doesn’t need the help of anyone. Kevin asks HHH about his match with RVD later. HHH says that it’s just the first rung on the ladder to reclaim his title. HHH tells Kevin to get the hell out of his locker room.]

Tag Match

Billy & Chuck vs. Mystery Team

[billy and Chuck come out with Rico to the ring. Billy states that because of the split, they are no longer champs. He says that when the method for determining the champs are determined, then he and Chuck will take it all the way! To prove their point, they are challenging any two men in the back to come out and fight them. Just then, Bubba Ray’s music hits and Bubba Ray Dudley appears on stage. Billy laughs and asks Bubba does he really think that he and Spike can take out Billy and Chuck. Bubba says that his partner isn’t Spike. Billy asks who it is, then the D-Bombs drop again and out comes D Von Dudley in his old Dudley gear! The two men rush the ring and go right at it with Billy and Chuck. The match is very short and the Dudleyz get the win with the 3D! Billy and Chuck stagger to the back as the Dudleyz hug and celebrate in the ring. But, Spike Dudley and Deacon Batista jump the railing and attack the Dudleyz from behind. They beat them both down, get a pair of tables, and put both Dudleyz through a table. Spike Dudley dogs Bubba through a table as Batista powerbombs D Von through another. Spike and Deacon celebrate over the fallen Dudley Boyz as the crowd voices their displeasure. JR wonders why Spike and Batista are together, and why they are attacking the Dudleyz.]

COMMERICAL

[back from break, a replay is shown of the carnage from the previous match. Michael Cole catches up with Spike and Batista in the back.]

Backstage interview with Spike Dudley and Deacon Batista

[Cole asks Spike what he and Deacon are doing together. Spike says that Bubba and D Von each abandoned him and Leviathon respectively, so this is their revenge. Cole asks who the hell Leviathon is. Deacon, now known as Leviathon, leans in and says I am. Cole backs off as we cut to JR and the King. They don’t know what to make of the situation as Hardcore Holly’s music hits.]

WWF Raw IC Title First Round Tournament Match

Hardcore Holly vs. Justin Credible

[Holly comes out to a decent pop. Credible comes out to little reaction, but a few hardcore ECW fans give a good cheer. Average five minute encounter that sees Credible pick up the win with his feet on the ropes. He scurries out of the ring as Hardcore attacks the ref with an Alabama slam. The updated brackets are shown.]

Backstage with the nWo

[Cut to the nWo’s locker room. HBK, Nash, and X-Pac are lounging around. Nash says that Jericho better watch his mouth because Nash doesn’t need another incentive to beat Jericho’s ass on Heat. HBK says that HHH is a man of his own and he can make his own decisions. Says that Jericho is responsible for his own demise because frankly, he sucks. HBK recalls his old DX days with Hunter to a good pop. X-Pac chimes in with his own DX memories to a pop, albeit smaller. HBK says that talking about all of this is useless. HBK tells X Pac to go because he is up next. X-Pac exits the dressing room, then we cut to a shot of the Rock walking down the hallway. JR comments that X-Pac vs. The Rock is next!]

COMMERCIAL

[back from break, the brackets for the WWF Raw Title are shown. Then, the nWo’s music hits.]

WWF Raw Title First Round Tournament Match

The Rock vs. X-Pac

[X-Pac comes out first with HBK and Nash by his side to huge heat. Then, the Rock’s music hits and the crowd absolutely explodes. JR comments that this is the Rock’s first match in several months. The bell sounds and the two go at it. HBK and Nash waste no time in getting involved and the ref notices this. He sends them to the back. X-Pac is distracted by this and has his back turned to the Rock. The Rock gets in the Rock Bottom ready position and as soon as X-Pac turns around, he is met with a Rock Bottom! Rock then executes a People’s Elbow and gets the win. After the match, HBK and Nash rush back down to the ring and ambush the Rock. Nash hits his Jacknife powerbomb and then HBK nails the Superkick. The nWo stands over the fallen Rock.]

COMMERCIAL

[back from break, a replay is shown of the Rock’s win, and then the nWo’s vicious attack. The nWo are shown walking in the back.]

Backstage with the nWo

[All three men are laughing hysterically. HBK comments that no one is safe from the nWo and Nash and X-Pac agree. We cut back to the ring as Funaki’s music hits.]

Singles Match

Chavo Guerrero vs. Funaki

[Funaki hits the ring and then does Chavo. These two put on an incredible match that goes a good ten minuts. In the end, Chavo gets his hand raised after a huricaranna turned into a pin.]

Backstage interview with the Big Valbowski

[Cole is backstage and asks Big Valbowski about his IC tournament match coming up against Test. Big Valbowski says that he’s been through a lot in the WWF. Val Venis, RTC, and now the Big Valbowski. Well, he says he’s had enough. From now on, it’s just Sean Morely. Val Venis made a good IC champion, but Sean Morely will make an even better one.]

COMMERCIAL

WWF Raw IC Title First Round Match

Sean Morely vs. Test

[Morely enters to a decent reaction. JR and King speculate on why Val decided to use his real name. Test comes out and gets little heat. Decent match that goes no more than five minutes. Morely picks up the win clean. As Morely celebrates his win, Justin Credible comes out and attacks him with a Singapore cane. Test joins in on the beat down of Morely. JR comments that Credible and Morely will meet in the second round and Credible is just trying to soften Morely up. Suddenly, Hardcore Holly comes down wielding a steel chair and clears the ring. Credible and Test back up the ramp as Holly checks on Morely.]

Backstage interview with Rob Van Dam

[Terri is backstage with RVD. She asks him what he makes of the whole Jericho comments about the nWo/HHH conspiracy. RVD says that it doesn’t matter. He says he has only one thing on his mind, and that’s becoming the new Raw champion. Terri then asks how he feels about the warnings that Jericho gave to RVD about how he’s in danger tonight. Just as he’s about to answer, Benoit comes in the shot to a decent pop. RVD just says, hey. Benoit says that it’d be wise to listen to Jericho. No one knows more than Jericho what it’s like to get screwed by people with authority. RVD says that none of that matters when you’re Rob Van Dam. RVD walks off camera as Benoit gives a disgusted look. We then cut to a shot of HHH walking down the hallway. JR comments that RVD vs. HHH is next!]

COMMERCIAL

WWF Raw Title First Round Tournament Match

Rob Van Dam vs. Triple H

[back from break, RVD’s music hits and the place explodes. RVD heads down and into the ring to a huge reaction. His music is cut off by HHH’s who gets an even bigger pop. The Game heads out and into the ring as the bell sounds. This match goes a good 15 minutes. Action went everywhere –stage, outside, crowd, etc. The end came when HHH set RVD up for a Pedigree, but RVD reversed it and backdropped HHH. RVD then lept up to the top rope and connected with a Five Star for the win! JR went hysterical and not believing that RVD has just pinned HHH! The celebartion is quickly haulted as the nWo runs down and brutally attacks RVD as HHH rolls to the outside. X-Pac nails the X-Factor and HBK nails a superkick. They don’t notice HHH on the outside who reaches under the ring and grabs a sledgehammer to a huge pop! He slides in the ring and acts like he’s going to nail Michaels, but instead he belts RVD right in the kisser! HHH then picks up RVD and nails a vicious pedigree. The nWo, now with HHH, stomp away at RVD until Benoit and Jericho jump the guardrail and enter the ring with bats. The nWo hightails it out of the ring, and heads backwards up the ramp laughing hysterically. RVD is laid out in the middle of the ring bloodied to all hell. Benoit and Jericho stand side by side and a lifeless RVD is laid out between them as the show fades to black.]

WWF Wednesday Heat

July 24, 2002

Introduction

[Highlights from Raw are shown. Mainly the nWo parts of the show. We then cut into a jampacked arena as JR and the King say that there are three tournament matches here tonight. Just then, Randy Orton’s music hits.]

WWF Raw IC Title First Round Tournament Match

Randy Orton vs. Hugh Morrus

[Orton comes out to a decent reaction from the crowd, followed by Hugh Morrus who gets little reaction. The two men have a decent seven minute match. The end sees Morrus missing the No Laughing Matter and Orton hooks the leg to get the win. The nWo, minus HHH, is shown in their locker room backstage to huge heat.]

Backstage with the nWo

[Nash says that he’s gonna destroy Jericho tonight and teach that punk a lesson for he and Benoit getting in the nWo’s business. Suddenly, HHH barges in to a mixed reaction, mostly boos though. He, HBK, Nash, and X-Pac all embrace. They all say it’s good to have HHH come home. HHH says it feels good to be back. HBK says that HHH’s idea to bloody RVD on Raw was classic and that his win was a fluke. HHH says that it will never happen again and that soon enough, he will get his. HHH says that he, along with the rest of the nWo, will be right by his side for his match with Jericho later tonight. HHH says that no one knows Jericho better in the ring than he does, and he would be glad to fill Nash in on what he has to do to win. Nash smiles and nods as the nWo huddle up. JR comments that the HHH is a backstabber to all of his fans and that the nWo are sick. Comments that RVD is recovering from the sledgehammer shot he received from HHH on Monday’s Raw, but that RVD will be at Raw on Monday for his second round match with Eddie Guerrero.]

COMMERCIAL

Singles Match

Tommy Dreamer vs. Raven

[back from break, Raven’s music hits and the crowd gives a good pop. Dreamer is out next and the pop is even louder. Dreamer gets in the ring and is ready to bust on Raven, but Raven motions for a mic. He gets it and says what’s wrong with this picture. Says that two of ECW’s finest are stuck wrestling each other in a match on Raw’s second tier show? Claims that he and Dreamer are two of the most violent people ever to grace a wrestling ring and that together, there isn’t a tag team that could stop them. Asks Dreamer to join his side and work to achieving WWF tag gold. Gold that they rightfully deserve. The crowd is starting to rally behind Raven. Raven asks Dreamer what he thinks, and Dreamer just walks out of the ring and heads to the back. Crowd boos at this. Raven is yelling at Dreamer as he heads up the ramp. Raven then challenges Billy and Chuck to a tag match at Raw on Monday. Says that he’s gonna take it to the extreme and if Dreamer wants in, he knows where to find him. Raven then leaves to a huge pop. JR says that Raven looks like a man posessed. Says that Cole is backstage with Stasiak.]

Backstage interview with Shawn Stasiak

[Cole asks Stasiak if he plans on taking the planet Saturn to planet Stasiak? Stasiak tells Cole to eat it. Says planet Stasiak is no more and that now, right now, it’s just Shawn Stasiak. One of the many up and comers in the WWF. What sets him apart is his will to win. Says that you will see that will to win coming up next.]

COMMERCIAL

Stasiak gets the win in a little under five minutes after a double arm DDT. Post match sees Stasiak grab a chair and level Saturn over the head with it. Orton comes down and dropkicks Stasiak out of the ring. Stasiak glares at Orton all the way back up the ramp as JR comments that they will meet in the second round match.]

Backstage with Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit

[Jericho says that the he knew all along about HHH and no one believed him. Benoit says that after the speech Jericho gave on Monday, he believed him. And Benoit says that he is hell bent on ridding the WWF of the nWo poison as much as Jericho is. Benoit says he will be right by Jericho’s side for his match with Nash, just to keep the nWo in check.]

COMMERCIAL

Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Nash

[The nWo come out to a huge chorus of boos. Then Jericho and Benoit enter to enormous cheers. They get in the ring, but are ambushed by the nWo. HBK nails a cheap shot Superkick on Jericho just before the bell rings and everyone clears out. Jericho carries Nash to a decent match that goes 10+. The end sees Jericho lock Nash in the walls, but X-Pac hops up onto the apron and the ref is distracted and doesn’t see Nash tap. Benoit then tries to get the ref’s attention, but he is met with a chairshot from HHH. HBK then slides in the ring and Superkicks Jericho yet again as he applies the Walls. HBK rolls Nash on top of Jericho as the ref turns around to count the 3. HHH nails another chair shot on Benoit as he and the rest of the nWo slide in the ring to dismantle Jericho. Out of nowhere, the Rock’s music hits and the Rock charges down the ramp to rid the ring of the nWo. He ducks a clothesline from HHH and nails a double clothesline on Nash and X-Pac. He then turns around and Rock Bottoms HHH. He goes to deck HBK, but HBK scurries out of the ring and up the ramp with the rest of the nWo. JR says that Raw will be quite a show with a second round match up from each the IC and Raw title tournaments.]

Hey man,

good show. I like the nWo interaction with all the up-and-coming stars. I'm not sure who HHH will feud with yet but I'd rather have it be RVD than Jericho. The Rock clearing the nWo at the end was a nice way to end the show. Raven/Dreamer should be a good team. I also like the Orton/Stasiak interaction. Good stuff. Keep it up.

WWF Thursday Velocity

July 25, 2002

Introduction

[Clips are shown from Tuesday’s Smackdown. The last clip we are shown is Storm and Christian standing over Hogan and Edge who were each draped in Canadian flags. We then cut inside to the arena where Cole and Kelly say that the rest of the first round match ups will be finished tonight. Cole says he was shocked at what happened at the end of Smackdown on Tuesday. He is cut off by Storm’s music and the crowd absolutely explodes in heat.]

WWF Smackdown IC Title First Round Tournament Match

Lance Storm vs. Taz

[storm and Christian come down the ramp to nothing but jeers and enter the ring, posing for the crowd. Then, Taz’ music hits and the place goes crazy! Out comes Taz to a huge reaction. A replay is shown from Smackdown and Taz rescuing John Cena from a savage beating by Mike Awesome. Cole and Kelly ponder why Taz came to the aid of Cena. The bell rings and the match is under way. Storm and Taz put on a good ECWesque match. The end sees Edge run down the ramp and attack Christian outside. Storm gets distracted by this and has his back turned to Taz. Taz then hooks Storm and nails a T Bone suplex and gets the three count! Edge then scurries up the ramp as Taz heads to the back. Storm and Christian get up and they look pissed. Cole says that Garcia has caught up with Taz in the back.]

Backstage interview with Taz

[Garcia asks Taz why he did what he did on Smackdown. Taz says he didn’t do it for Cena, he did it because he loathes Mike Awesome. Says that ever since Awesome left ECW in the way that he did, Taz has grown to have quite a hatred for him. Taz is cut off as Awesome clotheslines him from behind. Awesome stomps away on Taz a bit then rams Taz into the concrete wall. Awesome says that if Taz crosses his path again, he’ll make Taz his bitch just like he did ECW! The audience groans at that comment and Cole says that Awesome is a maniac.]

COMMERCIAL

[back from break, the slam of the week is the beating Brock Lesnar gave Booker and Goldust on Smackdown. We then cut to a shot of Booker T and Goldust in their dressing room and the crowd pops.]

Backstage with Booker T & Goldust

[booker promises that he will deal Brock Lesnar his first ever singles loss in the WWF. Goldust says that after that F5 onto the chair, he hasn’t been the same since. And to top it off, he has to face a legend like Hogan? Just then, Hogan bursts in the locker room. Hogan says that he has no beef with either Booker or Goldust, but warns Goldust that he won’t take it easy on him tonight. Goldust just stares at Hogan, takes off Hogan’s shade and Hogan’s bandana, puts them on, and imitates Hogan! The crowd is loving it. Hogan stops him and says that it’s crap like that that people won’t take you seriously. He says he’ll see Goldust in the ring, next. Hogan’s music hits as he walks out of the dressing room. Goldust gets serious all of a sudden as he heads out as well.]

WWF Smackdown Title First Round Tournament Match

Goldust vs. “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan

[Hogan comes out to the typical Hogan ovation. Goldust then comes out to a huge pop as well. A pretty slow match up that doesn’t go long. Hogan finishes Goldust off with the big boot and leg drop. Post match, Hogan helps Goldust up and raises his arm. Goldust looks at Hogan and has a look of admiration on his face. Hogan and Goldust walk up the ramp to a huge pop.]

COMMERCIAL

Backstage with Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman

[Heyman says that Booker is talking out of his ass as per usual. Says that Lesnar softened him up on Smackdown and that Lesnar has an easy match ahead of him tonight. Lesnar looks at Paul and says that Brock Lesnar era officially kicks off tonight.]

WWF Smackdown IC Title First Round Tournament Match

The Big Show vs. Chris Nowinski

[show comes out to a mixed reaction. Nowinski comes out to huge heat. A pretty horrible match that sees Big Show end this one in three minutes with a chokeslam. Cole says that the main event, Booker T vs. Brock Lesnar in a first round match is next.]

Backstage with Booker T & Goldust

[booker T is pacing around the dressing room when Goldust walks in. Booker says tough break man. Goldust says that it was the best thing that ever happened to him. Goldust says that he spent too much time joking around and not being aggressive enough. Says that even though he still has a sense of humor, the new Goldust is coming and he’s coming tonight. Booker T says that he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, but he has a match now. Goldust says good luck and that he’s with him 100%. They pound fists as Booker exits.]

WWF Smackdown Title First Round Tournament Match

Brock Lesnar vs. Booker T

[Lesnar comes out with Heyman to huge heat. Booker then comes out to a huge pop. These two put on a great match. The end sees Goldust running down with a chair and clobbering Heyman. This distracts Lesnar as Booker nails a Bookend. The ref goes out to check on Heyman. Goldust gets in the ring and nails Lesnar with a chair shot that puts a massive dent in the chair. Booker looks shocked as the crowd is loving it. Goldust gets out of the ring as the ref slides in. Booker covers and gets the three count. Goldust slides back in and lays the chair down and nails Lesnar with the Curtain Call on the chair. He leaves the ring as Booker still looks a little shocked. Cole and Kelly say that they’ve never seen Goldust this intense. Booker exits the ring and follows Goldust up the ramp as the show ends with an image of Lesnar laid out in the ring. Kelly informs us that the second round for both tournaments will take place on Smackdown this Tuesday.]

WWF Raw IC Title Semifinal Tournament Match – Randy Orton vs. Shawn Stasiak

Raven & (Tommy Dreamer?????) vs. Billy & Chuck

Hardcore Holly & Sean Morely vs. Justin Credible & Test]

Introduction

[An intro package featuring highlights from last week’s Raw and Wednesday’s Heat is shown. We then cut to the jampacked arena as JR and the King welcome us to Raw. A graphic for the RVD/Guerrero match is shown. JR says let’s go down to the ring for our first match.]

Tag Match

Spike Dudley & Leviathon vs. Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho

[New music is played and out come Spike and Leviathon to huge heat. Clips are shown from the last Raw are shown showcasing Spike and Leviathon’s beatdown of the Dudleyz after their match. JR comments that they ruined the Dudley Boyz’ reunion. We cut back to the ring where the duo is now in the ring as Jericho’s music hits and the place explodes. Y2J and Benoit stroll out to huge cheers from the crowd. Clips are played of their antics last week as they came to the aid of RVD after the nWo dismantled him. JR comments that Jericho was cheated last Wednesday on Heat out of a chance of the WWF Raw Title due to nWo interference and a subsequent beatdown. The bell sounds and the match starts. Great match up here and a hot opening to Raw. The end sees a miscommunication on the part of Spike and Leviathon leading to a Lionsault and a three count Benoit and Jericho get their arms raised in victory and head to the back. Spike and Leviathon are recovering when the Dudleyz rush the ring and beat both men down. Bubba tells D-Von to get the tables, and he brings in two and sets them up at separate ring posts. D-Von grabs Spike and Bubba grabs Leviathon and they get to the top rope and come down together with a sit down powerbomb through the table. The crowd is loving it as the Dudleyz looks possessed. JR says that this is similar to what Spike and Leviathon did to the Dudleyz last week.]

Backstage with the nWo

[Cut to backstage of a shot of the nWo as the crowd explodes in heat. Nash says that on Wednesday Heat, he’s gonna make the Rock sorry he ever stuck his nose in nWo business. HHH says that’s for sure, but that’s Wednesday and this is tonight. Says that he and Rock haven’t met each other in months and that tonight, HHH is gonna dominate the Rock like he always has. X-Pac says that the nWo isn’t through with Benoit & Jericho by a longshot. HBK says that he doesn’t know what they are thinking messing with the boys, but that they will reap what they sow. Suddenly, Cole busts through the door as the nWo shift their heads. Nash asks Cole what the hell he wants. Cole says he’d like to get HHH’s thoughts on RVD and what he did to him last Monday. HHH says that he went over this on Heat. Says that RVD will get his. His win was a fluke. Cole says that what does he mean RVD will get his? HHH says you’ll see.]

Cut to the ring where JR says that the first quarterfinal match up in the WWF Raw IC Title Tournament is next.]

[stasiak’s music hits and comes down to jeers. Clips are shown of him saying planet Stasiak is no more and that now it is just Shawn Stasiak. Shows him pinning Saturn on Heat and then nailing him with a chair before Orton makes the save. Orton then comes down to a good reacion. Good six minute match. Stasiak gets the win in the end with his double arm DDT. Post match, Saturn comes out and nails a DVD on Stasiak, then another one on Orton. JR and King wonder why Saturn attacked both men, especially since Orton helped out Saturn on Heat.]

Backstage with Raven

[Raven is shown sitting on a stack of tables in the back. There’s a TV monitor in front of him and he’s watching some old ECW footage of Tommy Dreamer. He mutters, I hope he makes the ring decision. JR comments that he and possibly Dreamer will meet Billy & Chuck next!]

He waits for Dreamer’s music, but it doesn’t play. Billy & Chuck ambush him from behind. They dominate the whole match as it’s 2 on 1. Billy hits the Famasser and is about to pin, but Dreamer’s music hits and the crowd explodes! This distracts Billy as Raven turns him around and hits the Even Flow for the win! Dreamer enters the ring and delivers a DDT on Chuck as he and Billy hurry up the ramp with Rico. Dreamer high fives Raven and the crowd is loving it! JR comments that Tommy Dreamer & Raven will be a force to be reckoned with. JR says that Garcia is backstage with Eddie Guerrero.]

Backstage interview with Eddie Guerrero

Says that tonight he continues his climb to the WWF title.]

Backstage interview with Rob Van Dam

[Eddie’s image switches to that of RVD and the crowd goes nuts. Cole asks him his thoughts on the nWo, namely HHH. RVD says that HHH is and always has been a cheap shot artist. Says that he should have listened to Benoit & Jericho, but, his focus right now is on the WWF title. Just then, Benoit & Jericho enter. Benoit asks RVD if he wants company at ringside. RVD says thanks, but no thanks. He’s got this one under control because he’s Rob…V…Jericho cuts him off and says that he thought that last week and look what happened. Says that HHH is waiting to strike again. RVD says that he doesn’t want to sink to his level and he’ll take care of it. RVD walks off camera as Benoit & Jericho look miffed. These two put on a great 15+ minute match. The end sees HHH come out and pedigree on RVD while Guerrero distracted the ref. Guerrero went up top for his frogsplash and got the win. Guerrero walked to the back as HHH lifted RVD up and nailed another pedigree. HHH raises his arms over a fallen RVD and the crowd is booing like mad. JR wonders what happened to HHH.]

Backstage with Hardcore Holly & Sean Morely

[in their locker room, Hardcore wishes Sean luck in his semifinal against Credible. Says thanks, but they need to take care of business tonight against him and Test. Hardcore says he was there for Sean last week and he’s here again tonight. JR says that match is next!]

Tag Match

Justin Credible & Test vs. Hardcore Holly & Sean Morely

[Clips are shown from last week’s Raw of what happened between these four guys as Credible and Test make their way down. Then Morely and Holly enter to a good pop. JR comments that with a name change, this could be a new beginning for Morely. Bell sounds and these two teams put on a decent match that goes seven. The end sees Credible roll up Morely with a hand full of tights as he and Test hightail it up the ramp. Morely and Holly are pisses as JR points out that Morely will meet Credible in a semifinal match in the IC tournament on Heat. JR says that Cole is standing by with the Rock.]

Backstage interview with the Rock

[Cole interviews Rock. Typical catchphrases, etc. Says that tonight, the Game ends for good. Says that he will beat Nash on Heat and go on to become, once again, the WWF champ. If ya smell….]

Singles Match

Kidman vs. Jamie Noble

[Kidman enters to a good pop, then Noble comes out (no Nidia) to heat. Great match up that goes 10+. End sees Kidman hit the shooting star for the win. JR comments that the cruiserweights are one of the most entertaining parts of Raw and that their exposure will continue.]

[split screen of HHH and Rock walking down the hallway. JR says that their match is next!]

Singles Match

Triple H vs. The Rock

[The nWo’s music hits and they come out in full force to nothing but heat. Then the Rock makes his way out to an absolutely thunderous ovation. HHH and Rock put on their usual match. Not too bad, not too great. Goes about 11. The end sees X-Pac on the ramp distracting the ref as HBK nails the Rock with a superkick. This brings out RVD who runs down, hops up on the top rope, and nails HBK with his kick off the top rope as soon as he turns around. HHH spots RVD and goes for a clothesline, but RVD ducks and nails a spinning heel kick. HHH bounces right back up, but so does Rock and he locks him in for a Rock Bottom as the ref turns around. 1…2…3! Post match sees Nash and X-Pac enter the ring and take down the Rock. RVD re-enters the ring, but is met with a superkick from HBK. They continue to beat Rock and RVD down until Benoit and Jericho run in, but they too are beat down. X-Pac nails the X-Factor on Jericho as Nash jackknifes Benoit. HHH delivers a pedigree to RVD and Nash jackknifes the Rock. The nWo then break out the spray cans and spray all four faces with nWo jargon. As the show goes off the air, JR wonders who can stop the nWo?!]
