WTF?

09 Jul 2002 Korn guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer has told Metal Hammer.co.uk that he thinks Hitler went to heaven.

"I think this is true Hitler went to Heaven (if there is such a thing as Heaven really exists)," said the six stringer. "He felt that what he did was right, and I think that if what you feel you're doing is right, in your heart, then you can't be wrong!"

Riiight!

How does that cause their music to be bad? Plus he just expressed one of his beliefs that many others actually share. You can't say that he's wrong for having a somewhat strange belief. What about that caused you to hate him and moreso his whole band?

Remember what they say..."God forgives those who repent."

How do we know Hitler wasn't sorry in the end?

Nah. Bastard's in Hell. Hey, it's just Munky for God's sake...he's no prophet :) Now, Kerry King on the other hand...there's a man with supernatural powers right there ;)

Judging from the tenets of Chrisitianity, what Mr. Shaffer said about Hitler is not without its merits. Besides, was he saying that Hitler should be in heaven? That's entirely different from saying he is in heaven.

Feh, what do I care? I'm an agnostic and Korn sucks.

of course, it was assumed that Hitler committed suicide which is an unforgivable sin so he's probably in hell but still...why should I hate Korn because of that?

Bah. None of us know any of this shit, and therefore shouldn't comment. A guy who thinks the more people we kill, the better chance we get into heaven probably warrants just as much merit as any christian belief. But I'm agnostic as well, so take what I say with a grain of salt....
