I knew a guy who lived next door to Paul Bearer's cousin. She said she'd try to get some tickets from him when they came thru town (this was soon after Kane's debut), but I was in the hospital with knee surgery when that happened so I didn't get to go, and I moved away soon after, so that never worked out.

My stepdad was briefly the lawyer for both "Quickdraw" Rick McGraw and...

drumroll please...

HULK HOGAN.

For the life of me I can't think of what it was about, though.

I went to high school with two brothers who are related to Chuck Palumbo, and one of the guys I work with used to play basketball with him.

Spike Dudley is also from around here.

My aunt runs a limo service, and she's always picking up the boys when they're in town.

And I've met numerous people through my job.

Also...I'm now officially jealous of OJ Hart, because I am a Shane Douglas mark.

I knew Tazz's mother for a while. I used to go to Jenny Craig (dont laugh. i lost 75 lbs.) She was the boss there and she was great. This was right around the time he entered the WWF. I saw his wedding picture and my god did he look funny!!!

Mick Foley has a lot of relatives over here in Rochester, NY. Foley is from Long Island, but I met one of his uncle's over here when he visited my (family owned) restaurant. It was a Sunday night for a pay per view (I believe it was Royal Rumble 2001). I was a host so I sat him and one of his friends. The guy asks me if I'm a wrestling fan, and he also asks who are my favorites. So I reply "Austin, Shawn Michaels, Mankind, The Rock ummm", and he tells me he's Mick Foley's uncle. I believe the guys name is Dan but I forgot. He showed me pictures of himself and Mick over in Nassau County. So when the WWF came back to Rochester for a SD in November of 1999 (Infamous Thanksgiving SD that year), Mick was in a Walmart signing autographs, and there I saw his uncle with Mick (BTW, Mick Foley is the coolest guy)......

Zack Malibu, if youre jealous just from that, I also met him before the show, got his autograph, and he took me, my friend(his cousin) and the other kids out to Hooters after the show and took us home in his limo.

O.J. Hart, I would like to be your new best friend!

Seriously man, that's wicked cool. I've been a Shane fan since way back in the day of the Dynamic Dudes, and I do think he got a rough break in the WWF due to the Clique. I know he's working in that new MLW promotion that just started up, and I know Highspots is doing the videos for them. I'll be ordering them just to get my "Franchise fix."

Oh, and if you ever wanna do someone a favor and send an autograph their way...

Cool. Did he ever use a limo to go casket dragging, like he did to Big Show's dad?

My uncle works out at the same gym in tampa with tatanka and my uncle asked him possibly the dumbest question. " Do people really get hurt in wrestling".

I've met alot of wrestlers here in Calgary, so has my family. Also my brother is a friend of Teddy Hart, who I believe is the nephew of Bret.

Well my mom and I were in the Clearwater mall one time and swear to God, we saw Hulk Hogan and his kid walking out into the parking lot. Of course, we were eating in Ruby Tuesdays but for some reason I didn't jump out of my seat and run out to the parking lot.

Glad to see another Mainer on this board, btw did you see the July 1st show at the Cumberland County Civic Center? Man I felt like I was swimming in the lower end of the gene pool at that show(Lots of outcasts, really fat peoples, misguided teenage girls and retarted kids that argued with Test). Now I know wrestling shows are supposed to have there fair share of weirdos but this was ridiculous 95% of the crowd had something wrong with them.

Kind of off the subject, but I sent a sympathy letter to Val Venis when his mother died. He sent back a personalized autographed 8x10 photo and a thank you. Nice guy.

But no, not related to wrestlers I don't think.

Add another Mainer to the list. :)

Someone I used to work with had a friend that went to Westbrook H.S. with Scotty. I went with the guy and his friend to a Portland Pirates game when Scotty was there and the guy had Scotty sign an old yearbook he had.

The closest I am to knowing a wrestling personality is my sister being a friend of Todd Pettingill's mom. He's from my city.
