Jesse Ventura Hospitalized

Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura was hopitalized this afternoon after suffering a blood clot in his lung according to WCCO radio reports.

 

Ventura was admitted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale after waking up and complaining of chest pains. He was being treated with blood thinners and was in stable condition. He is undergoing more tests today.

 

In 1984, just before a scheduled Madison Square Garden main event with Hulk Hogan, Ventura was rushed to the hospital in San Diego with a pulmonary embolism. Because the treatment of the blood clot required blood thinners, any bleeding in the ring could have been dangerous as the blood wouldn't clot normally. Ventura did return to wrestle, but never bled again in the ring, and retired to become an announcer after a brief 1985 comeback.

I hope he'll be okay. I'd still like to see him return to the announce position with jr because everytime i have seen them together thay have had some chemistry.
