Kurt Angle's music being changed

It hasn't happened yet, but you know it will soon. Because for some reason, WWE thinks entrance themes get old very quickly and feel as if they need a new version every few months. Since the Attitude era began, no one has gone very long with the same music, with Kane and Big Show's songs probably having the longest tenure.

 

So when they do change Angle's music, instead of using some lame rock remix...why not give him the "American Gladiators" music? I was watching a rerun of that show earlier today, and the music would be perfect for Angle.

I remember they used this rap-ish remix of his theme a while ago for like one show. It was really quite bad.

there's not much basis for this thread. as cavi said, they tried a variation already and it was crap. if anyone needs new music, its brock. so generic for what hes being pushed as. i never recognize it.

Actually, I think Vince's music is the longest running theme.

vince's is from rumble 99. kane had the same tune since debut, although its been modified slightly so you may rule it out. austin's certainly had a long run, although it changed from time to time, with the disturbed version for a while, and a completly different one the day after inVasion i don't think they used again. but technically, the nWo music would have to be the longest running theme, although again it too has been through variations

actually not, in wrestlemania 2000 the lyrics are slightly different for d'lo, so i'm guessing that's what his theme was like at the time

if they turn angle face anytime soon, they HAVE to change the music. People enjoy chanting "You suck" along with the rhythm too much

It's been awhile since I've watched the match, but didn't only start chanting "An-GLE!" after the match? They couldn't help but give him his props after that bloodbath.

Didn't Austin have the longest lasting tune? Started up in what, 97? Retired briefly in 2001 to come back again.

 

Anyhow, Kurt's theme is older than dirt. I wouldn't mind them changing it but it's possible they might screw up and the magic of the "You Suck" singalong is ruined.

Yeah. The one in Wrestlemania 2000 was the theme he used while paired with Mark Henry. After Henry turned on him (in favor of helping Jeff Jarrett), D'lo switched his theme to the one found on Volume 4, which is the one he still uses (Danger At The Door).

This theme has been around since '97, Kurt stole it from the Patriot. I still think of the Patriot *everytime* Angle comes out.

Uh, guys. You all wrong. The longest lasting theme is Shawn Michaels' "Sexy Boy" which has been around since 1993.

The one he currently uses is different from the one in 1993. The original HBK theme had a woman singing the lyrics. Once he turned face they modified it so he sings.
