Tiger Mask I Vs. The Dynamite kid...

I am sitting here watching my collection of these two, and I must say it is my favorite series of matches, ever. Yes, that includes over the legendary Flair/Steamboat chait of kick ass wrestling exibition matches. Now, with that said...

 

...will we ever be given the chance to see action such as this again? The psychology alone makes the matches better than most we see today. Then, beyond that, we have the core of the action itself. It was just, I don't know how to explain it, just out of sight. Would WWE fans take to such a series of matches? Let's say Benoit was going to have a series like this one, who would play the part of Tiger Mask I?

 

I don't really know the purpose of this post, I suppose I'm just craving NEW action like this, because if you ask me, it is as good as it can possible get.

i have only seen one of their matches together but it was outstanding. i would love to see more of their stuff together and their style used more in the wwe these days.

There has been better. The Tiger Mask/Kid style has evolved and was later perfected by guys like Jushin Lyger, Ohanti, Ultimo Dragon and the rest of the mid 90s New Japan Juniors.

 

Benoit has to some extent reinacted the Kid/Tiger matches, with the Great Sasuke playing Tiger Mask in Super J Cup 94. A fairly famous match.

Well, with so many folders and with Dynamite/Tiger actually having matches with one another in the WWF in the USA, I can say this belongs here or there, but whatever. As for there being better, I disagree. You may think otherwise, but their series was pure perfection in my eyes. The great thing though, is that each match was different, they were always trying something new to keep their matches fresh. Hmmm, from that alone WWE guys could learn alot. Also...

 

...yes, I know that Benoit/Sasuke took place, and was damn good, but it was not in WWE, like I'm more so wishing that we could see something like today.
