Guest the 1inch punch Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 A new Finisher Now, i know he has a hard on for the Stinky Giant Killing Legdrop, but seriously? I want suggestions dammit I dont want to see Ganso Bomb
Guest Tony149 Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Maybe a Legdrop from the second rope. Hogan just needs to do a power move followed by the Legdrop. I remember reading on this board, that Hogan's Legdrop should be his version of "The People's Elbow".
Guest the 1inch punch Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 I think so too, but what sort of power move. Preferably itll be something simple, like a running bodyslam, or a Jackhammer(yup, i know)
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Do a scoop-slam from the second rope, followed by The Immortal Leg Drop.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Maybe some version of a Power Bomb. Nash does a Power Bomb to, so maybe not.
Guest Justin T Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 He's sorta limited in what he CAN do. In Japan and a few early WWF and a few AWA matches he proved he can go in the ring in terms of brawling better than a lot. But that was 14 or so years ago. What he can do now without hurting his opponent, or without looking bad, I don't know. I agree though... but I have no suggestions on what it could be. Maybe a Falling Pump Handle Slam? I don't know... it's hard to piucture him doing much kmore than a boot and a leg drop and a back rake.
Guest AM The Kid Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 He should add a kick-ass FullNelson and for his finisher a big power move and the legdrop.
Guest WWF4Life Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Axe Bomber!! Rename it the Hollywood Bomber, and get it over by taking out guys like RVD and Edge. Slow build, like the whole nWo angle. Makes sense.
Guest AM The Kid Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 What about a running powerslam?
Guest Quik Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Have him use the Van Terminater... when are they gonna let RVD use that anyhow? Why not a submission hold? His matches are going to have roughly 63 rest holds each, so why not use a resthold to finish his matches?
Guest cynicalprofit Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Why do you want Hogan to be over again in the first palce after he helped destroy WCW? Hogan sucked over 2 decades ago because he had a lame finisher then, hell the WWF even made the point/ joke with the huckster and "at my age, my feet don't leave the ground." There is NOTHING Hogan can do, IMHO, to get better, the only thing he is worth, is jobbing to RVD and Jericho who are still gonna be in the WWF in the next 10 years, and rock too.
Guest Tony149 Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Give him a Full-Nelson slam. Followed by the Legdrop.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 the only thing he is worth, is jobbing to RVD and Jericho who are still gonna be in the WWF in the next 10 years, and rock too Yeah, like that's gonna happen...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 And what's wrong with the legdrop...Check your tapes, brotha...NOBODY survives the legdrop...the only other move I could picture him doing would be the Ganso Bomb
Guest free napkins Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Sid kicked out of the Legdrop ( WM 8)
Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Well...if you look at the Legdrop as opposed to other finishers...his pinfall rate was pretty high with that devistating move
Guest J*ingus Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Yokozuna, Paul Wight, Great Muta, and Goldberg all kicked out of the legdrop too. As for a finisher, eh, I dunno. The problem is Hogan's so broken-down that there's not a whole lot he can do, without putting himself or his opponent in serious danger. Maybe some kind of DDT variation? Everyone can do those...
Guest jimmy no nose Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 I'd just have him do a modified version of some simple kind of slam. Just make it look cool and it'll be a believable finisher. That way he wouldn't have to be learning much either. I liked the full nelson slam idea.
Guest Quik Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Hogansault Ha ha ha. I can hear JR now. "Hollywood's climbin' to the top, King! Mah Gawd, Hogansault! Hogansault! Hogansault!"
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 18, 2002 Report Posted February 18, 2002 Hogan could probably pull off an emerald frosion or a Northern Lights Bomb w/o too many problems. As for the Ganso Bomb, he doesn't need the Ganso Bomb, he needs to be Ganso Bombed!
Guest the 1inch punch Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 Oh God I knew someone would ask
Guest El Hijo Del Lunatic Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 Don't ask what the Ganso Bomb is. It's NASTY. No one on the WWF's roster right now would ever even think of taking a bump like that, so don't even sweat it. Anyway, since D'Lo is stuck in the HWA for, like, ever - and Billy Kidman's never getting back on TV, why the hell can't he do a Rydeen Bomb? How freakin' hard is that to do? It's all on the other guy to take it right, generally. Or he could be like the rest of the WWF's roster and incorporate a neckbreaker finisher.
Guest AM The Kid Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 Hmm...a FullNelson Slam, pretty much my two ideas smushed together. That would be cool.
Guest Gimli 1138 Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 I was gonna say that Hogan should use the TKO, but knowing how sloppy and lazy Hogan can get at times, I fear that he'll end up breaking necks and screwing up his opponent. But, I do agree with the idea of Hogan using a Whiplash Powerbomb. This way, he'll be consistent with Nash and Hall with their versions of the powerbomb.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 Hogan shold just steal Taker's little standing dragon sleeper...Taker's gone a couple of weeks without using it...the people have forgotten all about it
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 Hogan using the TKO would be a total disgrace to Marc Mero. I say again...2ND ROPE SCOOP SLAM FOLLOWED BY A LEG DROP.
Guest J*ingus Posted February 19, 2002 Report Posted February 19, 2002 2nd rope scoop slam? How exactly would you do that? Is the scooper or the scoopee the one on the rope?
