It seems like the only smark statement some people have to say is that HHH is holding everyone down. I'm sure there's more to the problem than just him!

Well it sure seems like they are going to build toward a Jericho/Cena match at the PPV because I was at SD and I can tell you for a fact they had the fake heat machine up to about a 37 when Cena pinned Jericho. The ten to fifteen people that stood up on screen were the only ones who cheered everyone else in my area at least was pretty much like "That was crap". I can't imagine them pumping in that much noise if it wasn't building to something bigger.

Heh. I'd love to see the Warrior back actually. Let him run around talking his Warrior babble, and have everyone on the roster treat him like a total nut. I think he'd get over as a heel (but he probably would realize it), for spouting off his crap.

Of course, he'd only want a zillion dollars for this and complete control of his booking, so forget that idea.

Test jobbing kind of pissed me off

That has to be the first time anyone has said this on the Smarkboard. But I sure as hell understand why. If they want to shove team Canada down the mark's throats, can't Test get a clean win over Rikishi? Fans will cheer for Rikishi's bare fat ass and dance moves no matter how much he loses.

Anyone else think that they should hold off the Edge & Hogan vs. Team Canada feud until Summerslam. Build up Edge & Hogan's friendship until then, while Team Canada berates Edge for being a turncoat. Then at Summerslam, Edge turns on Hogan and goes into full heel mode. Edge & Christian reunited, and another person for Hogan to put over.

You and your forward looking logic. You need to learn to get that out of your system. They really should have kept more time to build up the Edge-Team Canada deal but they have shown no interest in thinking ahead or acknowledging that Edge is even Canadian so who knows.

Heh. If Edge just turned, the announcers would probably be all "Why did he do that?". Then on Smackdown, "Oh Edge is Canadian".

I've gotta agree with this one. I'm no fan of Test, but I'd sure as hell rather see him than Rikishi. The win did nothing for Rikishi, but seeing as how Team Canada are still pretty new it meant something to them, especially seeing as how Rikishi made Storm's & Christian's interference look bad too. I could barely deal with the post-match B.S. to set up for Hogan/Edge vs. Christian/Storm at the PPV, but Rikishi made Team Canada into his bitches tonight, with a SAMOAN DROP for a finisher...

Did anyone hear the Cole voice over during the ME? It was something like "I think Chris Jericho is AFRAID of Edge!" To me it sounded a lot louder than the rest of the show, and they were both completely silent for two seconds before and after it. Its shit like this that I hate about SD!, cheap pops and edited announcing. And GOD if you had time to do a voice over, do it right!!!

Also

1) Why was it the cruiser tag match was shorter than the test/Rikishi clusterfuck and busta rhymes himself

2) Rey Rey, face or heel?

Well, if you think about it, the only theological statement some Christians have to say is that Satan is among us. I'm sure there's more to humanity's problems than just him!

What problem might that be? Well, giving someone a 20-minute return promo, then ANOTHER promo, then a run-in in the main event. The Rock, over-exposed? I'm sorry, but his spot with Busta Rhymes was just like one of those late-night talk shows, even to the point of The Rock saying something along the lines of "Halloween: Resurrection opens tomorrow, thanks brother." Notice how Busta hesitated when The Rock asked him if he dies or not? I bet it's because he DOES die ;)

Anyway, back to humanity's problems. Why does Angle have to tap out twice on the same show, to both Rock and Undertaker? Way to go making him look like a credible contender for the title at Vengeance! The only way he could look any less credible is if he were pinned by Cena instead of Jericho.

That's about it for humanity's major problems. I actually found the Mark Henry match watchable (for once), as well as the Torrie Wilson/Molly Holly match (Torrie can wrestle? who'd a thunk it?). Also, even though this isn't really a gimmick, for some reason I find Chris Jericho interrupting Vince McMahon and Stacy Keibler's... uhh... personal time every week hilarious. Funnier than The Rock being an asshole to various WWE personnel anyway.

I hope Edge turns heel.

He is so stale as a face.

Maybe he and Jericho will both join...which is why Jericho would let Vince out of his match with Jericho so quickly.

The only downside to an Edge turn is he'll likely get pushed some more.

But at least he'll have Christian to talk for him again.

No evenflow, you've got it all wrong! Of course Angle is a credible contender for the title at Vengeance...Cole and Tazz said so! They picked HIM to win the title!

*cough*

There is no way Rey is anything but a face. He was 20 times more over than any other cruiser so I imagine he could come out say the Hurricane's mother is a whore who had syphillis and he would still be the face.

This has to be one of the smartest statements I've heard in a long time. I wouldn't mind an 6-8 week tag title run with Hogan and Edge as champs. Hogan is giving Edge a nice rub just by aligning with him. And if Edge turns on Hogan, they have a feud then Hogan jobs to Edge, it could indeed give Edge a much needed heel push.

I think the smart thing to do would to have Edge and Hogan go over at Vengeance after botched inteference or something, and have the rematch at Summerslam. If they did turn Edge...which, really, though it might revitalize his character a bit, would be very stupid to do considering that it would leave Rock and Hogan as the only credible faces on Smackdown, it'd be much more effective there than here, where you'd at least have a bit of build to the turn as opposed to a flat-out shock turn.

Still, if you turn Edge heel, you've gotta turn someone else credible face...wait.

I forgot entirely that HHH was part of the roster. Whoops. Well, now that I remember that, I'll say that they probably will turn Edge. Blarg.

The only thing is, if they turn Edge heel...they MIGHT have to turn Jericho face. It would be really stupid if, after Edge turns, Jericho gets all buddy-buddy with him.

"Dude, sorry about injuring your arm a couple weeks ago!"

"It's ok man, wanna go buy some sodas? SODAS RULE!"

Of course, this is the same company that saw Rock and Hogan become best buddies after Hogan ran over the Rock with a 18 wheeler so I guess we can say...
