Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted July 11, 2002 OK, forgive me for sounding like a dork with this one, but I know next to nothing about Puro, and my friend was showing me a Super Dolphin tape (which I liked, but that's a different federation), and then he was telling me about this Japanese federation called DDT. He said I would like it because I like silly/dumb gimmicks, and as proof he offered that one of the wrestler's gimmicks was that he was a wrestling tree, and then he talked about a wrestling box. He said a lot of DDT's wrestlers have gimmicks like that. Anyway, I went to www.puroresu.com and found the website for the group (http://www.ddtpro.com ), but it's in Japanese. Are there any English websites on the group where I could find more information on this... "unique" sounding federation? Is there REALLY a wrestling tree? That'd be so awesome... I think. That's the problem, is that whenever I've been there in the past, the stuff I've read was just so darn technical that I felt like a fool for being lost in it. Anyway, I'm glad I got over my "fear", because I got several replies fairly quickly and they were really nice about it too. I won't let my prior misjudgings about others based on them knowing more than me hinder me again! Oh, I also ordered an SPWC tape, and when it comes in I'll probably write a review of it for the site.
