Guest papacita Posted July 12, 2002 Report Posted July 12, 2002 Um...I always read CRZ's stuff @ Wrestleline and pretty much ignored Keith until CRZ left...then I remember hearing a bunch of stuff about a rivalry between the two. Can anybody clue me in on this?
Guest TheScholarlyLion Posted July 14, 2002 Report Posted July 14, 2002 Being part of a group who chats with CRZ on AIM pretty much every night, I don't think he and Scott are all that buddy-buddy. Or maybe we sucked him into our hive mind and made him realize that Keith is pompous and fact-impaired. I remember CRZ writing a GREAT article about how the Shawn Michaels concussion angle and the Diesel tweener turn promo on the Raw after Survivor Series 95 were THE turning points in realizing that Attitude and angles based on reality would work. Then Keith said that Goldust lusting after Razor was the turning point pretty much as a direct response. I laughed. I talk to Scott on ICQ sometimes and he's an OK if misguided soul. PS I helped Scott come up with the name "Rantsylvania". I think he mentioned me by name in one of his mailbags as doing so once, and ended up giving me more credit than I deserved Actually, Keith has mentioned me twice in columns and CRZ once. Hmmm loyalties...
Guest Mindless_Aggression Posted July 15, 2002 Report Posted July 15, 2002 I believe it's a joke that turned into real life. Namely because of Keith, who really does seem very very insecure. It's understandable in the recapping category, CRZ blows him away, and frankly, Keith just ain't that good.
