I can easily see them brought in as a tag team (considering they'll both be back at the exact same time). If they go solo, I see Kanyon on SD and Awesome on Raw (Don't ask why) and I'll think Awesome will play part in the Hardcore division and Kanyon will just get in regular feuds (Can you be a lightweight, or is he too heavy?) He could go to Smackdown, but he'd probably just wind up lost in the shuffle. I don't think he'll be a part of this Team Canada, as they already have Test as their badass. Kanyon would be a welcome addition to either show. It depends on what character they want him doing (Raven's lackey, "Who's Better Than Kanyon", etc.) that will decide where he winds up. Awesome's got a struggle on his hands. Although he's an excellent hardcore style worker he doesn't have any charisma. Guest Human Fly Report post Posted July 12, 2002 If they would let Mike Awesome do alot of stuff he's capable of in the Hardcore division they could really build that title up. I'd have Awesome beat Bradshaw for said title, then have him come out next week with a new belt (a good one), scrap the 24/7 rule, and generally try and make things different then things have been in that division since 1999. As for Kanyon, either SD or Raw, I'd try and make him one of my top heels. He can work in the ring and on the mic. If I put him on SD I'd have him feud with Edge. Guest Coffin Surfer Report post Posted July 12, 2002 I mark for Mike Awesome, and I feel if given the proper build he can be an upper card or possibly Main Eventer. So what he doesn't have mic skills, give him a guy that can bump and see how easy it is for him to get over. He's a better worker than Brock, Test, Kane, burned out Taker, Albert, and the rest of the WWE power guys(or Hosses if you will). Why not give him a push. They seem to be shuffling through the same workers and don't have enough to fill the show, where as Smackdown has a more complete roster. Awesome should be in the IC contention as should Kanyon. Awesome's push in WCW is about what hee needs for the time being. He can work and I think he can wow crowds with his moveset. Both could benefit from being on this roster as singles competitors. The only option on Smackdown is to have them become a tag team in the hunt for the belts because that division is crap, and they could help shape it up along with other strong new teams. Smackdown has a surplus of talented guys, while Raw is sorely lacking (only RVD, Benoit, Eddie, Booker, Brock). I could easily see Kanyon holding the IC belt. Put Awesome in the IC division as well. Seriously, Awesome, to me, is not believable unless he is going for the top belt. Look at his size & agility! So, I say give him to NWA: TNA & then there main event scene will have two faces & two heels. He went from being a champ (in ECW) to being a fat-chick thriller (in WCW) to being a low-midcard nobody (in WWF, prior to his injury). I'm pretty sure that I heard that Paul E. is down on Awesome for leaving ECW in such an unproffesional way (I mean, Vince and Paul E. worked together to send Taz back to ECW to squash the newest member of WCW). Kanyon and Awesome can then get shots at RVD after the PPV to avenge Lesnar losing to RVD. Plus that gives us the idea of a tag match between Lesnar and Kanyon against RVD and the champ. If the tag team titles belong to Smackdown, why are their tag teams on Raw. I mean, coming from a mark perspective, the ultimate goal of a tag team is to win the tag team titles cuz that means your the best. All right "mark mode" off. But, seriously, that makes no sense. The tag titles should be pushed as a major title and defended on both shows . They mean a hell of a lot more than the woman's belt ever will. Anyways, back to the main thread. Since I'm sure the WWF won't do anything constructive with Kanyon and Awesome, and they'll just end up working Heat and Velocity, they might as well put them together as a tag team and let them have good matches and see what happens. Their movesets are similar, and kanyon is twice the worker of john effing kronus. Saturn does need a mic guy as well. Plus they've worked b4. total elimination in the wwe. and then i woke up.
