Hello all,

I ran across one of the best finds a few days ago - an old video store in my area is going out of business, and I got TEN different WWF/WCW videos, all in excellent shape - including Starrcade '87, Beach Blast '92, Great American Bash '90, Survivor Series '87, and more, for $40 ($4 per video!). I was absolutely shocked at how many "hard to find" commercial videos I got for such a good price.

Anyone else had luck like this? What tapes did you get? What kind of price did you get them for?

For 15 bucks, I got:

Survivor Series 96

Summerslam 96

Survivor Series 95

Wham Bam Bodyslam

World War 1997

Starrcade 1996

Superbrawl 7

Royal Rumble 95

Wrestlefest 91

Supertape 2

Slamathon 96, Buried Alive IYH

King of the Ring 93

WWF Hottest Matches

All in very good-excellent shape. I was shocked...I got them around on July 2nd from Home Vision who were getting rid of them.

Which Home Vision did you find this in? and did you run the place dry?

DAMN YOU! Ehhh... I hope Blockbuster in Westbrook still has tapes cause when I last checked a year and a half ago they had every PPV from Beach Blast 93 to about Starrcade 94 and some decent WWF stuff from 94-95

Nope.

Got rid of all their UFC stuff too.

So I took the clerk down in a tackle, got into the mount position, and punched him in the face. Later, I applied a triangle lock to the cop that was arresting me.

Maybe it was a good thing they got rid of their UFC stuff...

I always see mid-90s WCW stuff at used video stores. Too bad I don't want any part of it.

Well when a local video store up the street started selling all there wrestling tapes three years ago I was able to find: Global Warfare 93, Royal Rumble 93, Survivor Series 92, King of The Ring 93 and Wrestlemania 2 all for good prices, I could of gotten Slamboree 96 and Great American Bash 96 but I wasn't a big fan of WCW at the time.

Then last christmas another video store went out of business so I got: Hulkamania,"The Dragon"Ricky Steamboat, Crocket Cup 88, Wrestlemania 6 and Undertaker: The Phenom for $2 each. I was about to get Summerslam 98(Which I regret) or Bigger, Smaller, Stronger(whatever it's called) (Which I don't regret)

I have found so many for $3 from pawn shops it's not funny.

Best finds for that price:

The Wrestling Classic

The Big Event

Royal Rumble 89-97

Wrestlemania 1-13

Survivor Series 1987

Survivor Series 1997(Coliseum Version)

SummerSlam 88-97

And too many others to list. I have about 150 Boxed Masters. I had about 250 and pawned a bunch off last year(which I stupidly and accidentally included the boxed masters of Best of Ricky Steamboat,British Bulldogs and Brutus Beefcake).

sadly the video stores in my town are kind of pathetic when it comes to wrestling tapes. i have pretty well dubed every tape in town and occasionally manage to find something cheap. the ones i have gotten are:

the 1997 slammy awards: $2.50

one night only: $4.95

best of the wwf vol. 20: $5.95

mick foley, madman unmasked: $2.50
