(Note:This is my first attempt of a Tape Review, so keep that in mind)

WWF Most Amazing Matches Coliseum Home Video.

Dok Hendrix is your host.

Jerry Lawler vs. Bret “The Hitman” Hart (Kiss My Foot Match, KOTR 1995)

This is basically the final match to end the long feud between Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler. It is also part of KOTR 1995, which is regarded as the worst PPV of all time by some. Lawler taunts Bret to start and we are off. Some brawling to begin this match. Brawling on the outside of the ring and Lawler throws Bret shoulder first into the stairs. Bret gets slammed face-first into the guardrail. Bret gets pitched back in and introduced into the buckles. More brawling. Bret goes headfirst into the buckle. Three Piledrivers are not enough to put Bret away. The crowd is getting on Lawler’s case with a “Burger King” chant. Bret makes a brief comeback, but Lawler goes to the eyes. Lawler then undoes his boot. Bret gets smacked with it for two. Well a boot shot isn’t going to pin the Excellence of Execution. Lawler chokes Bret with the foot. Lawler tries to give Bret a preview of his smelly foot, but Bret blocks it. Bret trips Lawler up and headbutt to the lower abdominal area by the Hitman. Bret pounds away but gets a stray boot shot in the eye. Lawler then drags Bret near the post and tries to crotch Bret. Bret moves in and Lawler smacks his head on the ringpost. Shinya and Hakushi make their presence known at ringside. They interfered last month at IYH I (I got the Lawler-Bret match from that show on the Best of IYH Coliseum Home Video and that may be a future review). Hakushi accidentally hits Lawler as Shinya distracts the referee. Bret hits the Russian Legsweep, backbreaker, and elbowdrop from the second rope. Bret locks in the Sharpshooter. Lawler submits. Time of the Match: 9:20 and the Match rating is * ¾. I have seen better Lawler-Bret matches (Summerslam 1993 springs to mind, which I have that tape but am too lazy to dig it out). Bret Hart undoes his boot and gets Lawler ready to kiss it. But Shinya and Hakushi enter the ring. Hakushi misses a flying shoulderblock on Bret and Bret makes Lawler kiss his foot. Then Bret takes Lawler’s foot and makes him kiss his own stinking feet.

King Mabel (w/ Sir Mo) vs. The Undertaker (w/Paul Bearer) (IYH V, Casket Match)

Aw yes speaking of KOTR 1995, here is King Mabel. The Undertaker has that mask on and Mo has the remnants of the urn. Mo distracts UT to start and Mabel pounds the Undertaker from behind. Undertaker makes a comeback with thrusts to the throat and a chokehold, typical Mid-1990s Undertaker offense. UT hits Mabel with a corner clothesline. Mabel regains control with a sidewalk slam. Undertaker sits up. Mabel hits a clothesline. Undertaker sits up again. UT sits up so Mabel can miss a Splash. More brawling happens (what I wasn’t bothered to take notes on what consisted of the brawling). Mabel hits a belly-to-belly suplex and a legdrop. Mabel hits a big splash and the Undertaker is unable to sit up. Mo takes UT and puts him in the casket. Mo forgets to close the lid. Mabel tries to shut the lid, but UT blocks it. UT hammers Mabel with punches and kicks. UT hits a clothesline and then a beautiful leaping clothesline knocking Mabel off of his feet. UT then choke slams Mabel and then boots him in the back of the head, causing him to fall in the casket. Mo tries to attack the Undertaker but UT no sells. UT pounds Mo and choke slams him. Mo then is put in the casket. UT then gets the remnants of urn and shuts the casket on the reign of King Mabel. Time-6: 11 Rating: ¼*. Bland match with the exception of the leaping clothesline and choke slam on Mabel.

1-2-3 Kid (w/ Ted Dibiase) vs. Razor Ramon (IYH VI, Crybaby Match JIP)

Kid ducks a clothesline and sleeperhold on the Bad Guy. The Kid is mounting the back, trying to wear down Razor. Razor rams Kid into the buckles to break but Kid gets the hold back on. Razor’s arm drops twice and Razor crotches the Kid on the ropes. Razor is still woozy and Kid scores a 2 3/4ths count off of the after effects of the sleeperhold. Razor and The Kid duke it out and Razor ends up hitting a Discus Punch. Razor tries to put the Kid on the top but Kid elbows off. Kid tries a flying twisting crossbody, but Razor rolls through for two. Kid ducks a charge and hits a leaping spin kick for two. Kid gets caught and put on the buckles. Super Fallaway Slam from Razor. Razor signals for the Razor’s Edge, but Dibiase puts a container of baby powder on the ring apron. Dibiase distracted Razor as the Kid poured powder on his hand. Kid tried to blind Razor with the powder but it gets kicked in his face. Razor then scores with the Razor’s Edge, but pulls the Kid up at two. Razor then hits a second Razor’s Edge to score the pin. 6:49 shown and I will have to give this match ** for what was shown. Some good stuff, as it was X-Pac before he sucked. I am sure that the full match was better. Meanwhile Razor gives the Kid a bottle and then throws powder in the face of Dibiase. The Kid gets diapered and powder poured all over him. The Kid wakes up and the Kid throws a tantrum when he realized he lost.

Henry Godwinn vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley (IYH V, Hog Pen Match JIP)

Aw yes, the Hog Pen Match. Well if you like this match you might want to skip this match review. Hillbilly Jim is your special guest referee. Henry hits a back elbow and slams Helmsley face-first onto the stairs. They brawl to the hog pen but Helmsley blocks an attempt to put him into slop. More brawling, which sucks by the way. Helmsley almost gets backdropped into the slop but he hangs on. Henry Godwinn is down from something that I missed and Helmsley hits an elbow off of the Hog Pen. This is the first bright spot of this match. They brawl back to the ring. HHH charges at Henry but he gets booted in the face. Henry pulls out an inverted power bomb, which is the second and last bright spot of this abortion of a match. HHH blows a flair flip. Henry throws slop at HHH. More brawling just for the sake of getting back to the hog pen area. HHH blocks a slop drop by hanging onto the guardrail. HHH gets whipped back first into the hog pen and gets slop dropped on the floor. Henry then charges at HHH but Helmsley backdrops him into the hog pen out of nowhere. 6:17 shown and I don’t give negative ratings lightly, but this match was -*** ½ from what was shown. To make my mood worse, McMahon the shill was going on about how this was a great match. This match only had two, count them two bright spots in my opinion. After the match is over, HHH gets slammed in the slop. The hogs come. HHH slips in the slop and Henry and Jim have a hoe down.

Bret Hart vs. Isaac Yankem DDS ( Raw 1995, Cage Match, JIP)

Isaac Yankem is Kane in case you didn’t know. Bret Hart has the Sharpshooter on as the match showing starts. Bret then tries to escape the cage. Jerry Lawler interfered stopping Bret. Lawler also switched locks earlier in this match, says McMahon. Officials come out and Bret punches Lawler off of the cage. Lawler is escorted into a cage, which is hoisted above the ring. Yankem hits Bret from behind and Yankem is stomping away. Yankem chokes Bret. Yankem attempts a pile driver or a power bomb, but Bret backdrops out of it. Bret tries to climb out but Yankem stops him by slamming Bret off of the top rope. Yankem tries to escape but Bret climbs up. They slug it out on the cage wall. Both men end up getting crotched, Bret more so then Yankem. Yankem now is stomping a mud hole in Bret and walking him dry. Bret regains control and pounds away at Yankem in the corner. Yankem then gets introduced headfirst into the cage. Bret hits a side slam and a legdrop. Bret now is trying to escape the cage. Yankem however stops him by pulling Bret in by the hair. Yankem hits the DDS, which is his version of the DDT. Yankem is now scaling the cage. Bret stops him and crotches Yankem. Bret hits the ten count punches but Yankem counters by dropping Bret face first into the buckles. Lawler throws Yankem the key to the switched lock from the cage above the ring. Yankem tries to unlock the door but Bret rolls up Yankem and drills him in the jaw. Bret then unlocks the door and throws the key away. Bret hits a bulldog, backbreaker, and elbowdrop from the second rope causing him to escape the cage to score the win. Match shown: 9:14. This match gets **, which is only based on what I have seen. Better then the Lawler-Bret match.

Despite the tape name, this tape is not too good. Plus it may be hard to find. I got my copy in early 1997 at K-Mart so I don’t know where it can be found any more. I give this a 2 out of 10, for a decent Kid-Razor and Bret-Yankem matches, which were clipped. That annoyed me that they clipped those two matches
